it's alright, it's classic gainax goofy but also kinda real at the same time
I almost dropped it halfway through because it wasn't going anywhere, but the second half really picks up

I think the climax would have been better if the whole world was more threatened, they treated it as some kind of big global event when really the only danger was this one place on earth nobody really cared about getting blown up and it became this global thing when I dont feel like anyone had a reason to care
