Sekiro is just too brutal so I just got into this game. Any tips on how to get good offline?

do a lot of investigations and farm a lot of easy monsters. until you get good equipment to farm the next one in the food chain.
Capture every monster during the main and optional quests unless it specifically says slay.
It unlocks the arena optional quests.
Do all the optional quests while going through the game.
Upgrade your armour and make sure to use the right resistances or anjanath is gonna fuck you up
>playing the easiest MH game
That way you will never improve OP, play MHFU.
>learn your weapon
>watch the monsters animations to predict what they are going to go
>upgrade your damn armor
>use flash pods for assholes that love to fly, like Rathalos or Kushala Daora
>don't fall for the post-game meme it sucks in World
Don't farm Armour until you reach High Rank, it gets outclassed instantly. You can farm Weapons and Charms, they keep scaling - even so, you should do minimal farming until HR.
Get the Baan Ball and Lily of the Valley for your cat whenever they unlock. These are the only two weapons you need.
Make sure to do Expeditions and find the Grimalkyne tribes in every area. They give you all sorts of useful things like new Tools and you can recruit them to fight with you.
Never meld your Attack Decorations, they're rare.
>Eat before going out to hunt
>Anj will be pleb filter
>Dont waste mat on low rank gear
>Put key items on the quick select wheel
>Use highest dmg single hit move on sleeping monster
>Play female for prime hunter booty
>Git gud
Farm and grind everything until you beat the game and get tired of it.
>Play female for prime hunter booty
But male has cooler armor designs.
>git gud
>on world
LMAO
I liked this game up through the first credits but after that it got too hard and I dropped it. It started to take too long to beat enemies and then they began to run away. And since I no longer pay for online, I'm even less likely to continue playing.
It's a shame since I did have fun with it. But they consider getting rid of the time limit.
If you can't beat a monster within 50 minutes, you are undergeared.
not sure if bait
*if you can't beat a quest under 15 minutes, you are undergeared or a shitter.
Depends on the weapon. Hunting Horn for example just doesn't have the DPS output for solo play to consistently do that. Unless you minmax autistically, maybe.
Any weapon in any MH can do decent times if the player is good, maybe you just suck at HH.
MHFU has aged like milk and there is zero reason to play it in 2019.
I mean it just objectively doesn't do as much damage as other weapons. SnS is also pretty damn garbage.
But I'm also not a tryhard faggot desu, I focus on doing fun shit like mounting from ridiculous positions instead of maximum damage output. That's not fun imo.
Either way, my statement stands. If 50 minutes is not enough time for you, you're seriously undergeared or you're doing something fundamentally wrong. You should already be worried if a quest takes 30 minutes honestly
15 minutes, 30 is just shitter territory.
It will make you git gud by force so now sekiro will be a cake walk.
>he doesnt do some comfy gathering while hunting
it's not a race dude
Ahh yeah, hoarding shit I don't really need instead of beating the quest, really useful.
so you're just a tryhard fag, got it
Nope, I just know how MH works, you gather when you are done with the monster or when you need to, the game is called Monster Hunter, you are meant to hunt the monsters, not gather shit instead.
