The entire N64 "library" was literally just a cope that people deluded themselves into thinking was much better than it was. There were so few games to choose from that people convinced themselves they were the BEST of their respective genres, it's pretty pathetic. Mario 64, OoT, these games destroyed their own series but are considered "TOP10!!!!" games even though they're mediocre and forgettable. Goldeneye was a terrible shooter but is somehow remembered as THE BEST. One of the biggest copes I've ever seen.
