Yeah this is very common. They typically give copies to streamer and reviewers. Really anybody that is significant online is somebody they might want to send a free copy too. What doesn’t help them though are people downloading their game for free. If you are interested in a game it would help more if you just buy it and give it a good review. Also now with stream being so big it is hard for games to go unnoticed.
