Even with a two-three year engine development period i'd have expected it out a year or two ago honestly.

Granted I don't know the size of the team throughout development, but 8 years is a long fucking time irrespective to effectively remake, expand and polish an existing game.

Maybe someday.

They re started development at some point and as of now they are probably adding the finishing touches at a snail's pace

that's clever, I would say. Saves lives of the men and a great deal of money while countering the main enemy's strong and expensive heavy cavalry
