The thinblood protagonist thing is mostly vidya mechanics, to explain why you start weak and get stronger, and unlock shit. I don't think it can work like that in the tabletop, with a thinblood becoming more powerful than the big guys.

There's an honest to God chance this game surpasses the first. I love VTMB but the game is pretty damn jank. All 2 needs to do is not shit the bed in gameplay, have passable writing, and have plenty of quests and optional shit to find through various skills. The first Bloodlines was already basically the Deus Ex streamlined and simplified into something more like Human Revolution. 2 absolutely has a shot at at least being as good as the NuDeus Ex games.
