So morrowind is free now
Are there any mods to make the game actually good?
I can't hit a crab half a foot away from me. Who unironically thought that this was a good idea
So morrowind is free now
stale bait
It's an actual RPG, dumbass. Improve your character and you'll land more hits.
Kek
>move it boi!
I memba
>being a tranny
It's a disastrous form of an ARPG where how you operate the character is independent of how it plays.
>ARPG
It isn't an ARPG
Yes it is.
Maybe if you are retarded
>free
>need to install the Bethesda launcher
While this is old shit, I always hated that mechanic. I understand improving your character but it should just determine damage. Even a toddler could hit a giant crab with a hammer from a foot away, it just wouldn't do much damage.
Anyone that has played more than 5 minutes of morrowind is retarded.
Well, shit. Guess that makes us both retarded them
I'm dragging you down with me.
>To celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Elder Scrolls franchise, Bethesda is giving away the Windows PC version of The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind. The offer is valid through Sunda, March 31, and requires a login at Bethesda.net. Simply redeem the code “TES25TH-MORROWIND” to have the game added to your account.
>Many users are experiencing issues logging in to their existing Bethesda.net account or creating a new one to take advantage of today’s promotion. Bethesda says it’s aware of the issue. Difficulties authenticating seem to have spread to The Elder Scrolls: Legends as well.

Nice job advertising your client, Betheshit.
I'll have you know that I am a top. So, if anyone is doing the dragging, it will be me.
Morrowind has always been free on TPB. Plus you don't need to create and account and install Bethesda's spyware.
But most RPGs (and the D&D rulebook) have weapons do constant damage, and only your chance to hit is increased with stats and proficiency. A sword does a sword's worth of damage regardless of you being a swordsman or a mage, but the mage won't be able to get good hits in.
While true in some cases, in D&D you wouldn't miss fifteen swings in a row. You would at least land glancing blows or hit yourself. In a videogame it doesnt translate well and that's why we have this ancient webm in the OP.
>in D&D you wouldn't miss fifteen swings in a row.
I have literally done this.
> in D&D you wouldn't miss fifteen swings in a row.
Honestly it's pretty easy if you lack weapon proficiency and are exhausted - which is very similar to what's happening in OP's webm given that they're a new character with depleted stamina.
I've put more hours into morrowind over the years than any other game. All my files combined I have probably close to 1000 hours.
My pirated version still works, but thank you anyway.
I wonder if MorrowMP will ever be fucking updated. I guess since they're rewriting everything it's going to take a while and there's literally just 2 guys, but I've been deliberately avoiding playing it until it's ""mostly done""
.
I got it as well.
My first thought was how primitive the game was.
When was this made 1940?
My second was how slow it was. Then I found out you can auto run. Then I found out you shouldn't auto run. You have the stamina of an obese chain smoker and collapse in 30 seconds of running.
It was free so all it cost me was an hour and a half.
Did you know Skyrim has more choice and consequences (the holy grail of RPG autists) than Morrowind?
Too bad its combat is shittier and clunkier than Oblivion one.
The atrocious scaling ruins late game Oblivion.
The side and faction quests were top tier though.
I didnt say anything about scaling, but the basic mechanics of the melee fighting are better.
Melee in Skyrim feels like MC is a paraplegic
god i fucking hate morrowind
look at this bullshit
how can ANYONE like this piece of garbage
Too each his own.
Oblivion was an improvement over Morrowind to be sure( a low bar) but Skyrim melee just felt better than Oblivions combat
Sword and board anyways.
>get killed by a god
