The story's the only real reason to play it, and only if you're already invested in the first game's story, which is an ace-attorney-style game. (read: practically a VN)

The game is old and clunky, and sex scenes are fade to black with very descriptive text, but it fits the theme you want, depending on a few factors. You can game the system after a few playthroughs, but chances are, your heroine will be a pathetic and pitiful victim who gets to the end via hiding behind her few companions (most of whom want something from her or are in it for themselves) and sneaking around like a mouse in a house full of cats. Combat is almost never a good idea, fuckups result in swift and messy deaths or worse, and there is no genuinely 'good' ending. Just scales of loss and coping. Sex aside, it's genuinely one of the best underdog roleplaying stories I've ever played, and has given me a permenant distain for half-hearted male/female choices where females are treated no differently, and all the stories where we start out as the best thing ever.
