>game livestreamer tries to read chat
>is dyslexic
Game livestreamer tries to read chat
>streamer acts like a retard to gain subs and donations
>even bigger retard falls for it and makes a thread on Yea Forums
inb4 I was pretending to fall for it to make more people fall for it for replies
>Watch YouTube reposts of a few speedruns
>See what chat is like
>Wonder why anyone would want to be part of that
>be streamer
>fall for "Nick Ghurs" on purpose
When I practiced speedrunning it was nice. Only three-four people before playing TF2, albeit some of them were there for other reasons besides the speedrun
>content creator decides to use a webcam
>he's a nigger
>game streamer pretends to be a retard for so long they actually become retarded
Small chats are always the best, speaking from experience. 25-50 viewers is where it's at. Maybe more depending on how good your community is.
It's probably just the fact that I only tend to watch record-setting runs when they pop up in my recommends. The chats are full to bursting with shit like
>WR WR WR WR WR WR W RW RW RWR
>I WAS HERE IW AS HER I WAS HERE I WAS HERE I WAS HERE
ect.
AYYYYYYYYYYYY POOPFEAST 420 THANKS FOR THE SUB
i hate this about people. not that the streamers announce their names, but that the people who subscribe/follow/etc expect/desire to have their name read. what kind of pleasure does it give them? just fucking watch the stream, im sure the streamer appreciates it regardless.
>someone subs
>streamer doesnt say their name
>they post a sad face
>streamers
>People donate cash money just to have their fake names read by strangers
The chat in my stream for my Mario Kart 64 run was pretty comfy and encouraging. I don't think I would like having a big chat full of annoy spam.
>tfw did a bomberman 64 retardy stream once
>got 8 viewers
>people were just chatting and having fun
>streamer thread
Underaged please leave
Yeah, man. If I've learned anything from the way web media has gone in the past few years, it's that I don't even want to be fake Internet famous.
>streaming star wars replubic commando for the first time
>feeling good
>game is keeping me interested
>crack open a monster zero ultra
>experience euphoria for about an hour
>one person typed in my chat
>but it was alright
this. Aris does this alot and retards are still falling for his twitch acting
its painfully obvious alot of the time but i think he actually has alot of stoners in his chat
Does GreekGodX pretend to be retarded or is he legit a mongoloid? I've seen him fail at adding single digit numbers multiple times and he can't read at all...
i think he tries for a bit and when he fails one he starts pretending to farm emotes
>want to try streaming or YouTube
>have a respectable job and don't want to be associated with gaming culture because I think it would tarnish my irl reputation
I could legit quit my job and live off rent and just stream all day with no worries. But then I'm thinking about what a sad life that would actually be.
>give 5 bucks to streamer
>put I love gape horn as my name
>he reads it aloud
>doesn't even realize what he said minutes after
Was pretty funny.
>do whatever you want while making enough passive income to live without working
>sad life
that's all i want out of life, user. Working is a means to the end of generating passive income through investments
I think it would get old. The question is if doing whatever I want means playing vidya, or if playing vidya is just sort of a filler.
>job is to read an article
>flub a word every other setens, senets, bluhblablahblah AHEM sorry, SEN-TENCE
understandable. I'm more of the loner type myself so I'm fine with doing my own thing: my only real contact with others is through teamspeak and even then I'll drop off the radar completely if I get really into a book or TV program or something. Obviously video games won't replace real human interaction or cultivating meaningful relationships (for most people), which is really the only other thing 90% of people want.
Dunno what I'm getting at. The point is if you're not enjoying something, stop doing it and look for something you enjoy, it's much easier to explore your interests if you don't have a job or a family to worry about.
I find it embarrassing I share a board with """people""" that watch quarterpounder
>Thanks for the sub, wrong_hole_onii_chan!
>I'm more of the loner type myself so I'm fine with doing my own thing
I used to be like that, but ever since taking on more responsibility I realized I want a family and be succesfull in my job. Ever since then I enjoy vidya again because instead of spending all day playing, it's clearly a hobby, and having completed irl tasks before playing let's me relax and enjoy it a lot more. Before, I would always feel slightly guilty because I wasn't being productive.
But for some reason, this new clear status vidya has in my life makes me want to try out streaming or YouTube. I'm feeling like the hobby vidya can be even more fun if I share it with others like that.

sorry, meant for the other guy
> le racism

This is why I'm so sad that nobody visits my channel; I explicitly don't act like a tard, and engage chat when people are there...and yet I never have anyone return.
>start watching streamer with no viewers
>"hey whats up user"
>leave immediately
why they gotta put me on the spot there
What are you streaming?
Apex and League of Legends
Just started playing Apex. Are you good?
I'm guessing popular games like those have a shit load of professional streamers tho?
>watching a live streamer or any gameplay video that has commentary of any kind
There's your problem.
We (it's myself and a few associates) do a bunch of random things. Seiko, Jackbox games, Kingsway, Plague Inc, Dead Cells, FF7, Rocket League, League of Legends, Dissidia...and those are just a few of the things I can remember.
