cuz bajongas

Dragon's Dogma. Despite all the flaws I could go on for paragraphs talking about, you can tell they had a vision they were passionate about and really tried with what development resources and time they had. If Dragon's Dogma 2 isn't better in every possible way (because it should be due to the success of the first game, all of its ports, and DMC5) then I'll Mcfucking kill myself

Maximum Payne.

Bloodborne.

Have just had the most fun playing it. I've made 5 very strong builds and I've carried almost all my friends through this game so I've had lots of good times playing it

Smash Bros. I can play it for weeks on end and never get bored.

Crash Bandicoot 2, don't have to explain that shit

Kotor 2

I don't need to justify my choice. It's just great.

Freespace 2, because DIVE DIVE DIVE, HIT YOUR BURNERS PILOT

Persona 4 Golden

Makes me feel happy, makes me laugh, makes me tap my foot to the beat, makes me feel loved, makes me have fun and makes me feel like I’m conquering something amazing.

mgr
cause fuck i love everything about it

I'm figuring out what makes me like a game. I've found that I have an odd quirk where I generally don't like a game on my first playthrough. Then I come back a couple of weeks later to replay it and find myself losing track of time. I've done that with both RE4 and RE7 just recently. I thought RE7 was ruined by the tanker part, and regarded it as a flawed game. Then I randomly decided to play it again and found myself playing 5.5 hours straight and finished it and considered it my second favorite game. Now I'm replaying RE4 and just got done playing 5 hours straight and glued to the screen. Great pacing.

One thing I've known ever since I played it though is that MGS3 is my favorite game of all time. I've found that Ilike campy over-the-top games and RE4, RE7 and MGS3 have that.

I can't wait to play RE Origins Collection. Twice!

Max Payne 3
Good combat, good music good graphics and vfx. Everything aside from the cutscenes and story are literally perfect.
Really upset they didn't release a VR Mission esque DLC where there's non-cannon bonus levels.

CHRONO TRIGGER
NOSTALGIA
HAPPY TIMES IN CHILDHOOD WHEN I WASN'T SAD
HUNG OUT WITH MY BROTHER
GOOD SOUNDTRACK
GREAT STORY
GREAT CHARACTERS
CHILDHOOD INNOCENCE
MY GOD THAT SOUNDTRACK
DO I NEED TO EXPLAIN FURTHER?

Dragon's Dogma
Merges what I like about the West and what I like about the East while only keeping the flaws of the latter

it's really hard for me to decide
if you want only one, I'll go with Pokemon Soul Silver
honorable mentions to Dragon's Dogma and Binding of Isaac

Streets of Rage 2

Silent Hill 2
It's the only game that's made me cry. It also reminds me of my grandmother who wrote a similar letter to me when I was young before she died.

RE4.
I just love how the gameplay is about positioning yourself. Especially Mercenaries.
Hate the QTE, though.

SUPER MARIO WORLD FOR THE SUPER NINTENDO ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM
IT HAS A LOT OF VARIETY, IT WAS STILL IN THE ERA WHEN MARIO WAS CARTOONY BUT NOT CANDY, THE GAMEPLAY IS FUN, AND THE AESTHETIC OF SOME OF THE LEVELS ARE JUST GREAT.
I LIKE THE NIGHT TIME LEVELS AND CAVE LEVELS AND FORTRESSES.
IT'S ALSO NOSTALGIC, BUT I'VE PLAYED IT THROUGHOUT MY LIFE. THE LATTER LEVELS ARE STILL JUST DIFFICULT ENOUGH TO BE CHALLENGING.
IT TRULY IS MY MOST FAVORITE GAME, CLOSEST TO MY HEART, THOUGH THERE ARE MANY GAMES I LOVE. BUT NOT QUITE AS MUCH AS THIS.
THANK YOU SIR

I can't pick
killzone for story
humans go to mars and then come back to be the alien invasion humans always feared
epic
farcry primal for gameplay
crafting a spear from stuff you pick up while being chased by a guy with a spear and then spearing is great

Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations.
The characters are wonderful and the story is fun.

Super Mario 64. It's just super fuckin' fun to play, and I have a lot of nostalgia attached to it. The romhacks for it are dope too.

It's okay, but it's unfinished and the ending levels feel like shit.
Also, enabling every living companion (I don't remember about the Wookie, though) to become a Jedi was a mistake.

Metal Gear Solid 2.
Even though I don't play it much anymore, and I play RPG almost exclusively now, I still love that feeling I got from the huge leap from MGS1 in terms of graphics, mechanics, strange plot. Plus going from "WTF why am I playing as this blonde haired faggot" to actually caring about Jack and being as lost as he was and figuring out what the hell was going on.

Or Fable 1.

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite
Being the first in the series with all the mobs from Gen 1, Gen 2 and plus more, it was a long fucking wonderful chore to fight them all and own the weapons and armor. A near endless boss rush of a game with cool as hell weapons and armors, with most bosses being unique in visuals and gameplay mechanics forgoing the reskins. Fighting the giant ones like Lao Shen Lung was an awe-inspiring thrill, and the elder dragons were often the scariest of the fucking lot. It being on the PSP meant it was portable, and despite me being late to the scene so no one around me had one, getting good at this game was a long grind with thrills of pulling off patterns of attack and dodging that I love in action games. Fucking A++ back then.

Morrowind.
Because no matter what, it's there and I can relax with a nostalgic world. I travel a lot and go through cheap laptops. My only requirement for a cheap laptop is to be able to run base game morrowind. Everything else is just bells and whistles.

Zelda Majora's Mask. Not only i love how you can transforms into other characters, but side-quests are great

>Good combat,
fucking zoomers

Super Metroid
>perfect atmosphere
>that fucking soundtrack
>sound fx are amazing too(when ice shield hits holyy fuck)
>perfect mixture of platforming, item collection, and boss fights
>can be as hard or casual as you make it
>god-tier movement capabilities
>so much tech and tricks to learn
>sequence breaking
>speed incentive is Samus taking her clothes off
>COOL

Morrowind. I love everything about the game, but what I loved first and will always love most is the soundtrack.

Baldurs gate 2, beat it so many times i had most of the game memorized. The writing (before zoomerdog tried to ruin it) and gameplay were all kino. Its pretty sad how the company declined since then but few companies from back then exist.

Brave Fencer Musashi, because it oozes charm, and Kirby abilities combined with swords is fun.

Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga
My most played game, I liked timed hits and dodges in RPGs, the music is great despite the GBA's shitty sound chip, the story's interesting since it takes place outside the mushroom kingdom, the spritework is good, the variety of abilities makes combat diverse, advanced techniques offer a way to do more damage by being more skilled, the jump rope challenge is fun to do, the E Gad bits with the coffee are funny, and the fact that you control both brothers at once but can separate (sometimes) to try individual combat is something the series dropped after the first game (though separating from the babies is similar in Partners in Time).

Banjo-Kazooie because it was my first one. No, really.

TF2, So much fun and silly experiences across several years make it peak multi-player for me.

Melty Blood
I love fighting games and I love that its online is so good. Also, I can play this game while watching youtube or listening to music. It's the only game i'm good at.

Attached: fwara3.png (260x675, 116K)

>60 fps
>great music
>great single player
>great multiplayer
>customizable
>mapmaker
>cheats
>easter eggs
>monkeys
>big titties
>high difficulty

BFM was the shit back in the day

But

Breath of Fire III cuz it's comfy as fuck.

La Mulana
I don't even know since I'm not that big into puzzles but I haven't enjoyed a game that much since then.

lost my copy, was devastated. and emulators just don't feel right to me

>great multiplayer
>GameCube
?????????

>Super Mario World
>No Toads
Easy.

Buy another, you're an adult. I bought one of those kits to make my OG GBA backlit, replaced an old battery cover, and cleaned the entire case with acetone.

Super Mario Sunshine
Mario controls fucking fantastically and I really enjoy the environment, plot, and level design. There's almost nothing about this game I don't like.

FF7 cause its fun
FF8 and FF10 are my second/third favorite. Didn't enjoy the other games at all and never played the spinoffs like Tactics, WoF, and MMO

Attached: 1528763516767.jpg (750x900, 73K)

Morrowind rules. Jeremy Soule is the best. I love the music from Oblivion even more though.

Pokemon Platinum.

The last of the proper peak trilogy in the pokemon series, Emerald was awesome too. BW2 brought the dawn of bullshit sequels cuz Gamefreak wanted more money instead of actual satisfying story content
Has best champion. I will concede that Steven and Red are gods as well, but they are post game champions. Cynthia broke your balls as a story champion. She's the whitney rollout miltank equivalent.
Satisfying trilogy story. Actually contributed to a legitimate bad guy theme off ruling the world by having the 3rd Legendary involved in the game. (Looking at you X&Y, your story is shit and zygarde was left alone.)
Overall what I would consider the most fully fleshed out colorful pokemon game without succumbing to 3D overworld sprites that lagged their own device (X&Y graphics are shit on the 3DS, this continued until to this day.)
I just love this game, okay? Gamefreak hasn't made me feel this way ever since

Doom
DOOM

Fortnite

been playing enough to get decent, and its just so satisfying to hit a nasty shot, get kill streaks or clutch out a win

Devil May Cry 1
Good atmosphere
Good Variety of enemy types
Good Variety of weapons and skill sets
Great Bosses.
Decent music.
Story sucks but I'm not here to watch a movie.

Factorio
cause autism

Spirit Tracks
Train autism and the pan flute is the sickest shit. Also the dungeons are fantastic and the music is the best of any Zelda game.

Dang Bro. Rare Pepe.

Saved!

Minesweeper

Really good character design and a fluid, post-modernist storyline that stings the nostrils with its pungent flavour. Not to mention the engaging mechanics, lack of intrusive HUD, and cool tricks like the ? that don't make sense at first but really come into their own as you get more skilled.

I wish they'd go on with the shitty gimmicks and make a 3D Wind Waker style game with a plane

Excellent taste, user.

For me: Halo CE.

Attached: lodsacerts.png (450x463, 263K)

KILLER 7, NIGGA
IT'S FUCKING WEIRD, SURREAL, AND UNIQUE IN PRETTY MUCH EVERY ASPECT AND I LOVE THAT KIND OF SHIT

SPACE STATION 13
IT'S GOOD FUCK YOU

Terraria. Just overall excellent coop, tons of things to find and build, fun combat, great exploration. Lots of different builds to try.

Red Dead Redemption 2.
>Why!?
It's pure Western kino

Its fucking hard to pick.

Gonna throw in with Silent Hill 2.

wolf:et
Gun play was amazing, specializations all brought something good to the table, multiple ways to get to the objective, best form of leveling up in a shooter, stock map list was objectively kino.

Mario RPG.

Uncharted 2
>justify why
I wish I was Nathan Drake. Also it's the best third person shooter ever made, with the greatest level in all of vidya. The train level

Attached: uncharted 2 Nathan.jpg (340x658, 49K)

>implying i need to justify it

Attached: Tom_Clancy's_Splinter_Cell_-_Chaos_Theory_Coverart.png (256x355, 183K)

I've sunk more time into tabletop D&D than I should have, less than I want though. If Bethesda wasn't so awful Skyrim VR would have scratched that itch.

skyward sword but never leaving the clouds would be fucking incredible

vice city.
immersion.

Attached: IMG_20190313_201650.jpg (281x301, 12K)

Descent 2.

I do. Fuck you.

Yakuza 0, it's perfect.

>A faithful adaption of beloved cult classic film to video game
>Not only do they keep everything from the movie but create an entire backstory and reason for everything that happens in the movie
>Great soundtrack
>one of the best 3d beat em up ever
>amazing fighting systems, fists, melee weapons, environmental damage
>Immersive world
>Built for co-op
>Hundreds of characters and modes to unlock for rumble mode
>Army of the Night minigame
>Fury Mode

Attached: warriors.jpg (189x267, 17K)

18 years later no horror games has surpassed it.

mother 3

I've really enjoyed the mods for Call of Pripyat. The base game itself is exceedingly enjoyable but the mods really elevate it to its peak. Just a solid immersive and comfy experience, and being a /k/ fag really helps elevate the enjoyment further. Can't wait for Anomaly 1.5 to drop out of beta!

Attached: 1522385695522.jpg (753x1024, 121K)

Jedi academy because it has the best physics gameplay and PC controls for a game. If I had to showcase a game for PC it would be that. Online community is cancer though

Based, going to play Dead Air in future since I heard the stealth is quite good for what it is. You ever played that mod? Opinions?

Kingdom Hearts 2. I could probably write a book on all of its flaws, but if you play on crit lvl 1, the combat system's implementation of defensive options is probably the best in the entire genre. It really is a shame no other games even try to live up to it and just focus on combos instead.

Attached: 1534617528317.jpg (842x792, 81K)

Devil May Cry

Sure 3 and 5 may have better game play but DMC has a better atmosphere and classic camp, it's the most gothic and has some spooky parts.

Going super saiyan as Goten and Trunks, then fusing, then going super saiyan again, then going super saiyan 3 and then finally having a shit ton of equipment and putting all your stats into strength letting you one shot literally everything. The game was fun but a little to easy.

Attached: images (21).jpg (240x160, 11K)

dmc1 is creepy as fuck, that gothic castle and its theme when you walk around its warped corridors makes my skin crawl, its just so eerie, also reading the random manuscripts of the old habitants added the atmosphere

Tried to get into it, seems like a meme mod to me. Heard there is a lot of bullshit you gotta do to progress later too so idk.

fuck off, retard

tf2
absolute peak of pc gaming
>sdk
>command console
>amazing potential for community content, especially maps
>plenty of gamemodes
>undisputed control over game's interface
>loose standards for conduct- plenty of banter, insane stuff on conscientious objector, etc
>wealth of different playstyles viable outside of competitive
not to mention how solid the 9 classes are in character, backstory, and overall design
the game is simply a pleasure

lately I feel like the general has been plagued with meme mods.
i've been playing ogse 0692 for SoC and merge mod for CoP.

my nigga
>tfw no more 3d beat em ups in a realistic setting
closest i can get is fist fights in rdr2

Attached: ajax.jpg (210x240, 17K)

MGS2
justify this *unzips dick*

Haha so random :)

Space Station 13
I have an extremely severe case of the autism.

Graffiti Kingdom. No one here has ever played it. PS2, real fun. Childish but it's enjoyable

I've been gaming since SNES and honestly senpai is impossible for me to choose

I'm sorry my dude, but games are just fucking too kino.

Don't have one, I almost never have 1 single most favorite thing

It was a good time for games

Scarface is up there for me too
Drug dealing cock fights and o being a literal swear button

Predicting the future here

Attached: doom_eternal_by_brutalbloodlust-dcm1lta.png (1024x576, 804K)

I really want to get into Dragons Dogma, but I can't focus and I never notice when I am about to die.

HOLLOW KNIGHT
GOOD ATMOSPHERE
REWARDING GAMEPLAY
GETTING LOST DOESN'T RUIN THE EXPERIENCE LIKE OTHER METROIDVANIAS
ROOM LAYOUTS ARE DISTINCT AND MEMORABLE
STORY IS UP IN THE AIR, BUT THE FEW SCENES ARE FUCKING MESMERIZING
PLATFORMING IS TIGHT
ART STYLE IS UNIQUE AND WELL EXECUTED
I WANT TO HAVE A 4GY WITH THE MANTIS LORDS

Megaman X. I love everything about it. The stages, the music, the gameplay. It all flows together into an experience that is really hard to replicate.

came to post this

Attached: 4EAA0139-BA30-4669-B261-CF60580C3CE7.png (500x700, 168K)

Time Crisis 1
It reminds me of the better times.

Tetris. It's the greatest game ever made.

Super Mario Bros. 2 for Gameboy Advance
>pure nostalgia
>tons of goofy fun
>entertainment for dayz

The only Mario game where you can Dunk on your enemies with radishes or dunk on enemies with other struggling enemies. It always appealed to me due to its wider variety of enemy characters then just koopas & goombas and how it also included the classic Mario Bros arcade style sewer game if you got bored of the main play-through and wanted something a lil different.

Attached: CjLZiFf.png (554x439, 146K)

Demon's Souls or Front Mission 4.

Demon's Souls was a game I fell in love with because in 2010 no game was like it and the community around it was amazing at the time plus intricate build making and pvp.

Front Mission 4 is an amazing isometric mech strategy game that has really deep gameplay mechanics and it's quite brutal if you don't know what you're doing. Two different stories in the game that go on at the same time and you swap sides after every few major battles.

Attached: 1524782760135.jpg (519x480, 36K)

Mario Sunshine
it's relaxing

SUPER MARIO SUNSHINE
TIGHTEST CONTROLS ON THE PLANET IT FEELS GOOD JUST TO RUN AROUND

UT2k4
All the mod maps you want without having to deal with CS fags

Ace Combat Zero
>Wacky storyline with Arthurian references that become the building block of the rest of the franchise's story
>Solo Wing Pixy
>Enemy Ace squadrons add variety to the gameplay, which is already the Ace Combat formula refined to near perfection
>Killer OST, just listen to this shit youtube.com/watch?v=80XAJKqRU9k
>Game and planes look fucking good
>Game about war manages to have a message of peace without feeling hamfisted by seeing the effect the war had on your friends and enemies

Attached: See you again.gif (422x214, 2.64M)

Witcher 3 because I like the universe and lore behind it and also enjoy the story and DLC storys even more.

Attached: Yen.jpg (800x1200, 142K)

I never wanted to breed with anyone more than I want to with Yennefer of Vengerberg. That perfect, curvy body. Those bountiful breasts. The child bearing hips of a literal goddess. It honestly fucking hurts knowing that I'll never mate with her, pass my genes through her, and have her birth a set of perfect offspring. I'd do fucking ANYTHING for the chance to get Yennefer of Vengerberg pregnant. A N Y T H I N G. And the fact that I can't is quite honestly too much to fucking bear. Why would CDPR create something so perfect? To fucking tantalize us? Fucking laugh in our faces?! Honestly guys, I just fucking can't anymore. Fuck.

Attached: oioi.jpg (640x640, 97K)

Fuck thats hard, rate me on top 3

>DMC3
>Journey (that ost holy fuck)
>Titanfall 2

Postal 2.
Running With Scissors wanted to make a game that gave the player a lot of freedom in completing missions, you can wait in line to cash your check at the bank or rob the vault. You can slaughter everything that breathes with a can of gasoline and a match or run away like a coward.
You can drop a donut on the ground, piss on it, pick it up, drop it near a cop, lure him over to the donut, let him eat it which will make him vomit, whack his head off with a machete, watch the vomit still spray out of his decapitated neck, pour gasoline on his body, light it with a match and piss out of the flames.
When Postal 3 was released, it was terrible, so bad that Running With Scissors released an expansion pack for Postal 2 15 years later and took a never ending shit on Postal 3.
I could go on and on about how much I love this game.

Attached: postal2.jpg (800x1138, 135K)

Recettear bacause its fun, has good gameplay both shop and dungeon crawling, good characters and music.
Visuals and humor both strike my soft spots too.

Capitalism, Ho!

Attached: dasright.jpg (512x512, 168K)

Hits the trifecta of brilliant visual, audio and game design and builds on the foundations of it's prequel. Auto-saves are a bit too frequent though.

based

Attached: IMG_0010.jpg (981x888, 100K)

Probably Dragon Age: Origins. I had the most emotional investment in the story compared to any other game, probably because I was roleplaying the Warden in my mind, which was extremely easy to do thanks to the myriad of dialogue options.
And the combat is fun, especially playing as a Mage, he has so many skills...

Attached: image_search_1553586389123.jpg (1920x1080, 267K)

The offspring wouldn’t be perfect because it’d be part your’s.

Xenoblade Chronicles. Probably the most invested I've ever been in a game story, and if you take some time to really sink your teeth into the combat and exploration there's so much to discover. I probably wouldn't be as into smash as I am if shulk wasn't playable.

Skies of Arcadia , Amazing adventure and exploration.

Kotor 2, I played it at a formative age where I was a shitty edgelord asshole teen. This was back before the restoration so when I got to the ending I thought I fucked up because there was nothing there, so I replayed it and payed way, way more attention to the story to try and figure out what was going on.

It broke me of my habit of always playing evil characters once I realized just how fucked up the evil path in that game could get.

I grinded this shit once, I am still afraid to go back.

Me too bro, the first time ive played it was on the Wii though not the GC

Your mom. Her tiddies do great paizuri.
