Should I buy Persona 5 on the PS4 or wait for Royal to come out on the Switch?

I guess when you put it like that, I should just get it for the PS4. I was holding out in hopes to play it on the Switch. I’ve had the Switch for a few months now and am really digging the coziness of it.

Because Atlus has a good relationship with Nintendo and something like 80% of all Megami Tensei games are Nintendo exclusive. Actually, as a matter of fact, out of all the third parties in Smash only Persona and MGS have special edition Nintendo consoles.

Someone please explain it to me. What is it about Joker being Smash 5 DLC that suddenly has everyone thinking Atlus will port over P5 to the Switch? In a similar situation to the aforementioned addition, I don’t remember there being a lot of people suddenly thinking that Street Fighter or Final Fantasy would suddenly drop on the Wii U because of Ryu and Cloud’s inclusions.
Is it solely the fact that Nintendo itself had a bit more of an active role when it came to the DLC selection for this game? It’s the only logical thing I can think of. People concluding that Nintendo’s somewhat more active involvement for SSBU’s DLC = using Smash as a means to hype up ports/Switch special editions
