Paradox are just publishing. The DLC model is Paradox, yeah you can argue it should be free or in the core game but most of the DLC isn't bad, probably 80% of content and expansions are good. I'm not to worried, to be honest, they were always going to DLC, at least with paradox there will be experience and a bit of quality assurance because they're pretty good at it.

We barely know anything about the game. The complaints almost all have to do with the gender pronoun inclusion, and the devs' statement that they will be inclusive towards LGBT and mental illness players. Role playing is a domain that a ton of those people found an outlet in, bitching about this is just fucking cruel to be honest. Obviously if that comes at the expense of the quality of other routes in the game that'll suck, but we don't know that it will yet, and the very presence of those other routes you don't like don't make it a worse game for it.

Present them only from the perspectives of the characters, not as if everyone has some omniscient knowledge of the blue being better than red or whatever kind of low IQ drivel I know they *want* to spout. If they can do that, I think it can be as good as Bloodlines.
