>stealth games died
what happened?
Hitman killed itself with always online bullshit in an age where most ISPs are utter garbage
there's good stealth games you just have to find them
They require talent.
zoomers with no patience or the capacity to handle failure happened
Can you burgers explain to me how the current richest economy in the world has internet below a ton of third hole shithole countries
Teh Joos
because China is a shithole with barely functional infrastructure but the numbers to keep up appearances.
Our government allowed them to become monopolies and then turned a blind eye towards said monopolies
Racing games died too. There's no room for any other games except action or action adventure.
i have always thought strictly stealth games were boring
probably something to do with population density. you can't compare japan or a small european country to the USA. it's a shithole-in-making for other reasons though.
our internet is ran by the same companies who make entertainment. its also spilled over into wireless communications (att bought directv) which coincidentally enough is about another 10 years away from being ma bell all over again. but hey as long as facebook works and i can tweet instagram food pictures everything is okay!
legitimately good carlos that will go unnoticed
goddamnit carlos
ISP monopolies, being too large with a too small population density (relatively speaking) to make any sort of major infrastructure upgrades even remotely cost effective, idiots lobbying to keep internet speeds shitty because they're paranoid of torrents
why ket tackle crow?
Kinda hard to top MGSV
Imagine thinking MGSV did anything groundbreaking and wasn't a mediocre at best stealth game
i know im the only person in the world with this opinion but i liked the new thief game from like 4-5 years ago
He HONGRY
MGSV unironically has the deepest stealth action in any game. Prove me wrong, I'll wait.
zoomers have no patience
learn geography you turd worlder, the USA is huge and has a ton of low pop density areas
Zero corporate regulation
cats are the niggers of the animal world. fuck them all.
Fuck massive area for little population and oligarchies. ISPs have successfully lobbied to keep internet from becoming a utility and from competition entering the market.
niggers are the niggers of the animal world
god i fucking hate cats
>Stealth games died
>RTS games died
>Arena shooters died
>Beat'em ups died
>Racing games died
>Fighting games slowly dying
It hurts
go back to rubbit
The ISP market is a literal monopoly in most areas
Cats are based.
kuş ket moruQ :d
I'm going to pummel your head into the fucking wall until you're on the other side of the border Carlos
It's a bit of a bellcurve. Our actual internet qualities are fucking amazing, but there's lots of bottlenecking from providing service to millions of people in incredibly dense areas.
You can't put stealth games on a yearly assembly line.
Requires too much patience i imagine. Wits too in the pvp multiplayer aspects. It doesnt mesh well with people who need the instant gratification, go,go,go mentality. Probably somewhat difficult to justify adding lootboxes to the genre too or something.
It just a genre that seems to be developed by and for the older generations and its not exactly the most interesting for the younger ones.
And if thats the case, publishers wont support the development for it since it doesn't appeal to the widest audience possible and get them the most money.
Makes me wonder how a splinter cell battle royale would go.
Because we have states bigger than your irrelevant country.
Bullshit excuse, even in upper-income high-density urban areas the options are 3rd rate compared to Europe and Asia.
Newer games have stealth in the form of "crouch to become undetectable because AI is programed to never look back, then press X for EPIC CINEMATIC TAKEDOWN".
Government is filled with old men who don't know what IP stands for and they don't do anything to monopolies because they're paid by monopolies not to
They were assimilated and casualized by AAA open-world shooter games
