Laugh all you fucking want. They're obviously saving their best stuff for E3. Sony WILL win E3 this year!

Direct was your E3

See you in 2020!

>he doesn't know

>he doesn't know

Did we really need a Direct for these presentations?

>E3
user...

Oh shit

I really don't get what people think these day. Were they seriously expecting the PS5 announcement or Death Stranding's release date for an event like this? Like, i understand saying it was a wesk first start, but chastising Snoy like what's happening now is being biased.

>Better than any Inside Cuckbox

Keep seething, Xniggies.

>It's a "Sony pulling out of E3 means they will show literally nothing in that timeframe" episode

lmao

get r/whooosh'd

hahaha

:)

>they will show literally nothing in that timeframe
They have nothing to show. No games.

Not a great first impression at all. It was a bad idea to announce the presentation without describing it's contents to allow people to set their expectations accordingly. It was a bad idea to frontload the presentation with VR titles to the point where the 90% of people watching are dead bored by the time something they're interested in finally shows up.

I expect them to do better next time, assuming there is a next time. I wouldn't be surprised if they just swept this under the rug.

You have a very pretty smile user...

If they seriously show that stupid Last of Us motorycle new IP shitty game at E3 again I'm going to be livid.

>reddit

>allow people to set their expectations accordingly
I recognize that you're correct but can we please acknowledge how ridiculous it is that consumers today have to have their expectations set? On a free video service?

Obvious bait

Ps4 doesnt even need exclusives, they already have the third party support to coast off until PS5 launches

what did they announce

missed it and nothing hit twitter

Nothing, that's why

VR games and indieshit. Oh and they remembered Days Gone exists, whoopdefuckingdo.

Observation, which looks like you play as HAL in A Space Odyssey

99% sure this was just to fill a checkbox to make sure their stock value doesn’t plummet completely come E3. None of this is “for the players”.

I thought Microsoft would just get all the third party stuff Sony would have, but I actually just expect the same split as previously with this format.

Sony doesn't care about their players like Nintendo does. That's why even when they try to copy Nintendo's approach to address their customers directly, they dare not show their face. They have to hire an actor to voice it all over, and it just becomes a big advertisement disguised as exclusive information.

I get the joke. But Sony WILL have a big conference this year even though they won't participate in E3.

The PS5 announcement happens regardless and if it's anything like PS4's then we'll know its general specs, features, funcionality, controller reveal and year 1 titles. So yes, an event much bigger than E3 will happen this year. No way in hell they'd announce anything significant during a Direct-like presentation now.

> It was a bad idea to announce the presentation without describing it's contents to allow people to set their expectations accordingly.
But they did. We knew it would be VR focused with new game announcements.
It was indeed VR focused and new games were indeed announced.

The only vague thing was if those new games were VR or not. But I don't see how a non-retard could except Sony to announce any major new game outside their 2019 PS5 reveal conference.

I´m unironically hyped for No Mans Sky VR

>Sony doesn't care about their players like Nintendo does.
Oh boy your brain is fucking friend. You believe Nintendo is a good wholesome uncle that gives a single shit about you, and not just another cynical money-driven company like any other. One thing's for sure, their PR is much better. (and by the way "public relations" is a new term that LITERALLY and DIRECTLY came from "propaganda" to make it sound less... propagand-ish, you took the bait)
