if Tim Sweeny put an information panel on the main page of the EPIC launcher acknowledging these things I don't think as many people would have a problem with EGS

Epic's getting shit on because it's a barebones launcher trying to force exclusivity deals to strong arm people into using it instead of developing features and titles that make people want to use it over steam

Because no one has shilled the money to gain the exclusives to get a rival off the ground until now. Like sure there are the developer specific launchers like Origin and Uplay, but they aren't trying to get non EA and Ubisoft games for themselves.
