There's only three factions in the game worth knowing; the Camarilla, the Anarchs, and the Sabbat. The Camarilla operates like a government, wanting to rule over all vampires for mutual protection. The Anarchs reject being ruled over because they're doing just fine on their own. The Sabbat are at war with the Camarilla and try to kill you on sight because your character is connected to the Camarilla from the start.

2004 cult classic that came out early and busted because Activision wanted a game to rival Half Life 2 and Valve gave them a busted beta Source engine to try and stop that. Autists patched the game to make it as playable as possible and have even added knew parts of the game. Dialogue and Story are great for the most part outside of the combat slog nearing the end half. Clans are the best thing about the game because they all play differently and can gain different dialogue. Don't play Malkavian or Nosferatu on your first run because the Malk are insane and nothing will make sense and the Nos are basically a hard mode because you're so ugly humans run away from you.

Malkavians are just a fun time. I best the game first time on mall and I don't regret it, it makes sense to play as something insane when faced against pure insanity
Ventrue is pretty fun because you get taken seriously and the durability of ventrue turn them into funny psychopath business men

Frankly, the most genuine Malk experience would be to play Malk first. That would be the beat way to experience the insight like they do. Kind of neat, really.

At best you see dialogue with the name of the key sprinkled in, but that's within 1/4 completely other options with their own wild word salads. Nobody is going to know what's actually happening, it's more like seeing a riddle instead of your dialogue. It's clever when you do a second run but it's amazing when it's your first.

Mages have high potential, but they're kind of like batman in that they need a ton of preparation and work to do one big thing. An angry thinblood vamp could tear through a group of the most powerful mages if caught with their pants down. A powerful vampire is always powerful.

To be honest I found greatest satisfaction when I went with brujah and potence and beat everyone to a pulp with bare hands. Shit's so cash. I want to try other clans but they are always a step down.
