Looking at my shelf I have 10 Playstation exclusives. I loved them all besides The Last Guardian.

As far as exclusives go that seems about how it always ends up. Most games are multiplats.

DESU, I skipped it because I thought it was contributing to the homogenization of games, but I got it as a gift and really enjoyed it. Characters and setting is interesting. And I really enjoyed exploring the world, especially the sea of nine. Combat was pretty fun too, even if it was nothing special.

They do that with games made by their own studios, but why would third party developers not want to release on PC and get more money?

They used to be the reason you got a console, and they would compete to have the most or best games. For example, if Sony and Microsoft respectively had a flagship FPS, then they'd make sure they had a better FPS.
Back in the PS2 era, Sony also had a shitload of AA titles, so you'd get it for things like Stretch Panic and Okage. I forget exactly why there were so many; I think they handed out licensing for really cheap or something. It may also have been easier to develop for PS at that time.

Just make non-shit Fate/ game, it will print money.
