Haven't tried LttP but Snes9x has worked fine for other games
If you don't care about turbo or multiple save states then virtual console injection is the best

Not OP, but I hacked my N3DS. It was prettt easy, just tedious. All you have to do is follow some guides, and you’re good. Even if your 3DS is updated, there’s an exploit in some free submarine eShop game. And no, it shouldn’t effect your legit purchases. I’ve injected DLC onto some of my legit games, no issues. I don’t know how it effects online play, so I haven’t done it yet.

Seriously? I remember years ago when people were still trying to figure the 3DS out there was a hacker who was going to announce an exploitable game that could install homebrew. The game turned out to be Cubic Ninja and within mere seconds the pricings for it jumped from 5 dollars to 35 dollars minimum. The homebrew wasn't even worthwhile. It took another year or two after that before it started to become comparable to flashcarts like Gateway.
I still have that shit game on my shelf as I managed to snag it for 7 dollars as it started to climb in price. It's just crazy to think how easy it is now compared to back then.
