It's not scary desu. It's very tense the first playthrough because of enemy placement and the newness.

I never played the original, though. Also I'm a pussy. I watched a lot of streams of it, and it looks incredible but I'm too spooked.
I'm not gay but I think Leon in is both cool and cute in RE2. The suit is great and his face is really attractive, his hair is stunning too.
