The entirety of Revengeance.
Even the scenes with the Guyanese kid

COWABUNGA

It's unbelievable how well DMC3's cutscenes are and still hold up. In fact, even with today's standards, they are superior in choreography and voice performance.

Give me that.
No way, you got your own.
Well I want yours, too.

One of my favorite exchanges in game history. Fuck, DMC3's script is so good.

>It belongs to a son of Sparda.
absolute tear jerker

Ocelot seizing the tanker is probably my favorite cutscene in the entire series.

Man looking back, replace"Power" with "Money" and I vibe with/ understand Vergil so fucking much

"A man with guts and honor" from DMC1

troll testicles are blue-board approved

I think the best thing about DMC is that yes it's cheesy, but it knows when to hold off on the cheese for a minute to be serious. You can hear it in the Vergil themes.

>Intense techno-rock ballad with emphasis on loud, scratchy synths and guitar riffs
youtube.com/watch?v=1Mi11pfUUrk
>Rock again, but this time with a heavy drum beat in the background and orchestra, which is unique for the game. An angelic choir cuts in midway through to heighten the tension

>Entirely choir and orchestra. Loud brass sections and deep string sections create an epic final battle that sounds like something straight out of LOTR

If there was one thing that DMC5 lacked was the absolute kino dialogue DMC3 had.

>Mass production? RIDICULOUS!

That's not even close to the line. How do you fuck up this bad?

They also fit the feelings of Dante & Vergil on those fights
First one represents anger and the need to beat the other
Second represents desperation
Third is about two brothers fighting. At this point you can tell they don't want to fight but they know they must.
It represents tragedy.

Nice find. DMC5 made me appreciate DMC3 all the more because then I noticed how hard it is to mimic DMC3's one-of-a-kind execution. It can probably never be done again.

It's from the DMC5 version of that scene you complete nonce.

>"How many times have we fought?"
>"Dunno. It's the only memory I have of us since we were kids"
>Both smile

m8 that was pure fucking kino.

he meant that you typed it like a retard. You're also wrong about it being the line. "Gather you strength"

the entirety of MGS4, because that game's main attraction is the cutscenes
mmmm yes konami give me more fanservice mmm *slurp slurp*

Since we're all sucking DMC3's dick, let me post this aswell.

The prologue is genius. Not only does it introduce you to the story as a newcomer but also foreshadows the coming tragedy of the game. It sets the tone perfectly.

Not that you can skip it but still.

I knew exactly what he was going to say the very first time I played through the game, and when he did say the line, that's when I knew this was the best boss fight of all time. OF ALL TIME.

I never skip this scene, ever, and I've replayed this game a million times already.
