I have 150+ games but no fun

How can I help you when I'm on the same boat?

games aren't supposed to be fun

Show your library you absolute fag

Sony games have tons of mindless combat and "fun" that actually hurt the storyline. Complaining about that is damn near retarded.

However, I can see your frustration since "gamey" games like DMCV are basically Sony games but with more cutscenes, a way worse story and easier and more mindless combat.

In short, pretty much every type of gamer is retarded, you especially.

Because you asked nicely

that quote makes perfect sense coming from a sony developer. when the hell has "fun" been something theyre even remotely interested in?

I mean yikes, I wouldn't have anything to play either from this mess

It's not quite as bad as I thought
and you even use mods, so I know that you aren't an absolute mouthbreather

so what is exactly the problem
go play the original doom with mods or something bruh

Epic launcher -> Satisfactory

youre welcome

Do feel free to recommend me something then.

I don't know. Its like I'm burned out, I start a game, play maybe ten hours and feel bored. The only thing I'm still actually enjoying is Hitman 2 or Red Orchestra 2.

>Do feel free to recommend me something then.
Since you seem to play a lot of fps, DUSK

Start emulating. Had a blast playong Hulk Ultimate Destruction on dolphin

Dusk is fine but for a neo-classic shooter it left me disappointed

I actually wanted to try emulating Pikmin but I don't have a controller for my PC and I figure it's pretty meh on KBM

How? I found it more fun than quake itself

>Reddit spacing
>Making an autistic reply to a silly joke
Holy shit.

user 10 hours is pretty good until you get bored. I bought god of war and played it for 20 minutes cause I was so fucking bored of it. I returned it the next day.

I don't know, like I said, the game is fine
It's just I suddenly got bored and droped it

And I'm a man who finishes a Doom chapter every few days so I don't know what the fuck did I do wrong

>user 10 hours is pretty good until you get bored.
Is it? I mean even games I could play for ten hours straight, day after day now barely hold my interest anymore.

I mean I'd still rather play doom custom maps with some stupid gameplay mod than dusk at the end of the day. 2.5D > 3D every time. But it was a nice experience

Find a gurrrl

jesus christ, what the fuck are you even trying to say, DMC5 has more cutscenes than God of Onions and TLoU?
jesus christ

You seem to be really stuck on first and third person games.
Maybe play something different. XCOM Enemy Unknown or something.

Maybe just ease off on the games for a bit.
Find a nice TV series or something.

Never played any XCOM games, but I'll check out some gameplay, can't hurt. Thanks user.
Recently gotten a bit into city builders with Dawn of Man, so if there's anything great there, I'd be grateful for recs as well.

OP reading your posts I can only come to the conclusion that you are a (possible) NEET who spends all his time playing video games. Try having a hobby or doing something else and video games won't seem so boring anymore

>tendies cant play DMC and projecting
back to r

r?

I've actually been watching X-Files, pretty comfy. Just kinda wish I had something fun to play.

Yes, pretty much. I guess I need a new hobby.

Go back to r/anime

>Yes, pretty much. I guess I need a new hobby.
I had the same problem and when I got a job suddenly I couldn't get enough of video games

>but I'll check out some gameplay
Note that a lot of people like to take XCOM really seriously and bump up the difficulty to super hard levels and play essentially without saves.
If you start the games you won't be dealing with any of that. Just have a playthrough of Enemy Unknown without expansion, on normal, save when you want and just enjoy the game. XCOM is generally presented well and really addicting.
It can usually hook people pretty quickly.

I just learned I'm getting an asylum center for violent offenders right next to where I live.
I only need one game for excitement now. /nightwalking/

>asylum center for violent offenders
Does your country not have jails?

We don't jail asylum seekers. That would be racist.

go play double dragon neon.

Which country?

>We don't jail asylum seekers
im guessing you dont deport them either?
>violent offenders
why the fuck wouldnt you deport them?

Because deporting violent offenders would cost the private asylum shelter money. Better to store them until we "deport" them. "Deport" in this context means tell them to leave and then open the door. Then, 4 years later they stab some dude on a bus.

Yes. This actually happens regularly.

>private asylum
Now I'm REALLY curious which country

Norway. Asylum shelters are a huge industry here. Most of them end up fucking off to Sweden or Germany when the gibs turn out not to be as forthcoming as they had expected but some stay and stab random people.
I don't even fucking care anymore. We're done as a nation and more than half of anyone under 30 is a literal socialist.

Jesus
Also that's weird because although loads of people in here support the welfare state, they're not outright socialists because they understand the difference
Finn here btw

We have dutch disease, though. No one under 30 here knows what it's like to experience real poverty so they think we're just "lucky" and that none of it was the result of hard work.
I've finally just given up. I have nothing to lose anymore.

>they think we're just "lucky" and that none of it was the result of hard work.
Well you got oil don't you so I can't say they're all that wrong

Attached: 1530458332164.jpg (222x293, 19K)

Where is Monster Hunter World desu

>oil just magically bubbles up out of the ground
Drilling is hard work, user. Ask your mother.
And we were well on our way long before the oil.

Never played any Monster Hunter. I heard it was pretty meh compared to earlier titles?

>Drilling is hard work, user. Ask your mother.
user c'mon.

>Drilling is hard work, user.
And yet it is the easiest way to literally pump out wealth compared to any other job you could think of

Nah, we could do what sweden did and corner the twitch-thot market.

I didn't know sweden had loads of twitch thots? Or maybe do per capita but it's still such a small country that people don't notice

Thanks user, just watching some Enemy Unknown gameplay and it seems fun. I don't think I've ever played anything like it. Like a mix of HoMM and DoW I guess.

Seems like every white Swedish girl is on twitch. Every white Norwegian girl is out skiing and playing handball.

fuck you he has a lot of good games

PC gaming general. I felt this way about my steam library. Switched to console and i cant play the games fast enough.

>without expansion
NO
Enemy Within is simply an upgrade on the base campaign. It is the better version in every single way.
Get the complete edition that has Enemy Within.

Well the last console I've played was PS2 so I definitely haven't got a foothold there. Not even the movie game meme or anything, I've just mostly been into FPS stuff, or stealth, and the latter has had so few good games lately that I've just been playing Dark Mod and Hitman.

Consoles are a meme. I thought the same when I jumped on the ps train. Went back to PC in disgust.
Granted, I don't like games where a controller is the most viable input method and I don't like an fov of 3 but still.

You have a shit ton of replayable good stuff, you're just depressed.
Consider getting a new hobby.

It's easier and has less content currently because it's a newer game, but it's also easily accessible on Steam. Just thought I'd ask

I'm no more depressed than I have been through the last few years and I've always had fun with vidya, so dunno if that's it.

Well, can't hurt to check it out, at least. Thanks for the suggestion.

OP if you are a neet then its most likely the last of your self preservation mechanisms trying to tell you do get up and do something.

>I'm no more depressed than I have been through the last few years
Fuck me, same here. The problem is, I'm no less depressed either.

Try a different genre than what you're used to playing.

>150 games + mods on PC
>15 games (and more to come) on my PS4
>40 games on my Xbox 306
>5 games on my mobile
And I'm still having fun.
Just try to not burn out your interest in playing games. Get different genres and don't spend the whole damn day playing them. Do something else like watch some tv, do sports or any other hobby

Well self-preservation can go fuck itself. I'm kidding but nothing much changed in my life really so I'm not sure why I wouldn't enjoy vidya anymore. I've actually taken on more responsibilities working for my father (meaning I work two days a week) so progressively less NEET, you'd think that would make me want to vidya more, not less.

I did have some fun with Dawn of Man, pretty much the first city builder/sim I've played so maybe I'll branch out into that.

Yeah I don't usually play all day long, I have weeks at a time where I don't play much at all and then a week where I do nothing but. Seems I'm no good at moderation.

Thanks everyone for the responses thus far instead of just excessively shitposting, appreciate it.
