Actually, I consider working for a "regular" video game company to be one of the bad choices they're boxed into. Working as any kind of game developer is crazy unstable and workers there are often suckered into long hours for meager pay because "you get to do what you love." And that goes for non-porn stuff as well as porn stuff.

The problem these developers face as job hunters is when Bungie or Respawn asks about their experience and they say "I did the art assets for Loli Land 3 and the coding for BouncySpaceBoobies." Because working on porn games can limit your future life choices the same way working in real porn does.
