> Blazing bull Takes zero health or posture damage from any attack. Juggles and one shots you if you dare get caught in specific parts of the flame filled screen.
You can't even play it safe and keep vaulting him as he takes absolutely no damage from any attacks anyway.
luckly I killed him first try. but he sure was annoying
Ryan Murphy
Skirt around behind the bull. I pulled an Asylum Demon on his ass.
Elijah Price
Getting behind him is easy but even then you do near zero damage hitting him and he just swings round then runs away again.
Henry Nguyen
Don't have firecrackers. Also parrying the horns does nothing, he regenerates posture immediately.
Isaiah Davis
It's an easy as fuck fight once you stop being intimidated. You can deflect all of his attacks but dont try too much as they do an assload of posture damage.
All you have to do is hold down B, sprint behind this bull at all times and force him into the corner. Every time he has to make a sharp turn, get a slice or two in on his ass. You can force him into a loop where he will run a short distance and turn to try to hit you. Hit him in the ass each time. Fight will be done in about 4 min. I died the first couple times but once I figured this out I think I only used 1 healing gourd due to a misstep. No revive required.
Also to start the fight I recommend getting him to break all the towers so you have as much free space as possible to run, get the bull into a small space and you win. It retreats to charge at you. Once it gets distance you will get fucked up.
You will not posture break the bull until its health is at zero (without firecrackers etc). Sorry. Dont try.
Now Someone tell me how to beat the armored knight (looks like the chosen undead) at the top of the mountain.
Andrew Brown
Same OP. I hate how random and messy his attack set is. I can't seem to do enough posture damage before he fucks off and regains it all over the other side of area.
Isaac Gomez
I've found that to be the worst tactic of all. In order of what gets furthest to worst: > vaulting over him getting a single hit in x6000000 No word on when this ends, done a few near 15 minute attempts doing this ad nauseum > standing in front and hitting head/parrying Eventually one attack will just flail and juggle you to death > getting behind him Time consuming with him running and he spends more time attacking this way
Dylan Bailey
>lady butterfly rocks my shit hole >kill bull with relative ease Butterfly would NOT sit still for me. I've seen a webm with a guy hitting her and strafing right the entire fight, but every encounter I had she hopped everywhere like a meth head.
you have to kick him off of the platform he walks out from. Get his posture down to zero and bait him to the edge of said platform and you'll kick him off the bridge.
Oliver Brown
He's on fire for one.
Jordan Peterson
>too depressed to enjoy anything lately, even Sekiro >couldn't even finish my 2nd playthrough of DMC5 despite me waiting years for the game It's the beginning of the end for me bros. Once I lose interest in vidya, idk what I'll do
Joseph Bennett
The thing about the bull is that he doesn't actually attack too often. The camera and style is a fucking atrocious mess so there'll constantly be flames in the screen when it's even looking the right way but that doesn't mean it's attacking.
So just get in it's face and spend most of your time attacking and just learn what's actually an attack and what's just it moving.
For example when it turns, one horn digs into the ground and looks like it's going to kick up to attack. It's not. It's just shit animation.
Bentley Young
Just run around in a circle you retard.
Nicholas Sanders
Been doing that for good 8 minute attempts. He takes basically zero damage from attacks and if you get greedy you can just get juggled by him.
As said I've even tried inordinately long vaulting attempts where i play it safe and jump, get a hit and repeat.
Cameron Gomez
There are some bosses that you can posture break and some bosses that you need to deplete HP instead. Bull requires you to deplete HP. Don't waste your time trying to damage posture.
Also I've beat NG, NG+, NG++ and I'm getting started on NG+++ now, so if you want to know how to beat a boss, ask me and I'll tell you exactly how.
Justin Kelly
Is there any skill that gives good damage against the bull? That's the main problem, i can avoid the hits or parry easily but nothing chips away at its health.
Do consecutive strikes climb in damage?
Logan Hughes
>Bull digs log in the dirt to use it to turn >Gyoubu does the exact same thing with a spear >Saint Isshin does the exact same thing with a spear too
Someone on the dev team was obsessed with doing this IRL.
Isaiah Morgan
Firecrackers nigga. Also the bull is pretty much always in motion so you can just keep running around and he'll be able to hone in on you. I killed him last night by abusing his movement and getting him to continuously run himself into a corner.
Matthew Martin
Consecutive strikes do NOT climb in damage. Attacking out of a sprint or out of a B dodge does the most HP damage immediately, where you have to hit the second hit of your normal combo to do similar damage. So attack out of sprints and b dodges against HP bosses. Also keep in mind the whole point of the bull is to be an endurance fight. Spam firecrackers too.
Ethan Long
Bad placement of that sort of fight though, he's just after a couple of bosses. In many ways I'm finding the game badly paced, lots of mini bosses and bosses but little of interest outside of them.
Nathaniel Harris
Yea don't do that. He's not that bad, stay to his side and get a couple hits on his face in every time he stops. Those hits will eventually stagger him, that's how I got him. If you don't have firecrackers go get some, they'll help a lot even of it just gives you a safe moment to heal.
Grayson Rogers
I think this guy threw me off as I tried to do what the game teaches you with being aggressive and parrying every attack, you do this with him, you gonna burn. So this in a way is far more like the classic souls method of running around and dodging the attacks + Firecracker to create windows of opportunities.
Cameron Smith
minibosses tend to be much harder than actual bosses
Tyler White
dousing powder nigger
Gabriel Turner
Hold down fucking B or circle to fucking sprint you retarded tranny fuck >people taking hrt in charge of vidya playing
Isaac Martinez
the game does an incredibly poor job of explaining the flow of combat against non standard enemies. when you see good gains on the posture meter and it starts to go down dont be a greedy faggot and rush in. you are supposed to soften the bosses up with pokes so their posture pretty much stops recovering. just be patient and carefull
