DMC4 was able to look good without crossing past the uncanny valley. Capcom is just shit at faces nowadays. Claire, Vergil, Handler, etc. all look like cringegoblinas in-game even though their real life models look pretty good.

Meh. His face is still alright, but not as good as Chad Dante. They didn't even go all the way with "rugged" look so it just looks half-assed. They could have made him have a more prounounced beard/mustache with longer hair if they really wanted to make him look rugged. He sometimes looks like shit in cutscenes because of the uncanny artstyle and the hair looks even worse than in 4. Not to mention his clothes seem to be blending in with the background because the colors are all dulled out.
