I know everyone is talking about Sekiro right now but how the fuck do I fight Father Gascoigne?

I try to separate us with the headstones but I keep getting hit by his shotgun, and it feels like he's never open to attacks. Plus his combos keep getting me

Dodge.
That's all you fucking moronic fuck.

parry

press circle to become invincible

Retard that never touched Bloodborne in his life

whatever you say pal

There's hardly any i-frames in bloodborne though. If you played it, you'd know that.

Quicksteps in Bloodborne have 11 i-frames.

That's like twice as much as Nioh and Sekiro.

hit him
don't get hit

ah, but there are i-frames

Doesn't mean you can attack while invincible
Therefore circle button doesn't autowin

Make him to get stocked and use a charged attack with your main weapon transformed.

use the axe two handed, spin to win and stunlock him to death. alternatively just dodge his attacks

Play Sekiro and then Bloodbourne because easy peazy

*becomes

I beat him by continuously dodging and then charge-up hitting him with the extended axe when he had his guard down. Took like 4 tries before I figured it out

then press r1 when you don't need to be invincible

Hit him twice
Dodge toward/behind him (to the left/his right)
Repeat

Not joking. Try it. It even works on his last phase. Just do it over and over. GGEZ.

you are shit against fast bosses
thats all there's it. learn and adapt

Play him a tune to cause him headaches.

Protip: Dodge his attacks and hit him until he dies.

>kill Orphan for hosts without getting touched
>no one cares
>kill Gascoigne with +10 Hunter's Torch
>PSN friend invite duuuuude wtf

>switchaxe
>grueling slog, 20 deaths
>threaded cane
>first try, 0 blood vials

I don't even understand what happened.

Wow...considering I just killed the brain of mensis. You can kill Gascoigne by getting the music box. Cheese I guess by using the tombstones a bit. Finally, what worked for me oddly enough were skill attacks with the second form of the axe. I'd just time the attack hit him knockback I heal if needed or just rush to pummel him down with the axe in its first form.
