>Making a good 3D Sonic game that would be unanimously loved is not a hard task. Even among those who feel meh about the Adventure games, it's unanimous that most Sonic/Shadow stages with exceptions like Sky Deck & Pyramid Cave were good. Just make a full game out of that, just that, with a simple enough story, akin to the likes of Adventure 1 but if you only had Sonic/Super Sonic's story with maybe a few more Tikal flashbacks, and of course, enhanced Chao Garden. I really don't think it's out of Sonic Team's reach, even though it won't be made.

Sonic Heroes is the only 3D sonic game I care about. Bottomless pits suck ass but man it’s the most sonic game there is in 3D
I like Black Knight conceptually.
Shadow the hedgehog gives me a headache.
Press Garden is the best zone I’ve ever seen in a sonic game.
CDI soundtrack is banging. The mania Stardust speedway is sexy
Blaze the Cat is the most legit character and I like her for being real.
Heroes is better than Adventure. The characters were better, the story wasn’t pants on head retarded and it just feels good blasting through heroes levels more than sonic adventure.

SA1 is flat out shit, I'm actually baffled that people put it in the same ballpark as SA2. ShTH is unironically one of the better 3D titles.
