I have a hacked switch and I barely use it, still wondering if I should go and sell it and just get a switch pro when it inevitably happens. I just keep waiting for worthwhile switch homebrew or mods, but it turns out that all I really want on it is multiplayer, and ever since they took away free online I've had no reason to play it.

The dsi, in hindsight, kind of sucked. It couldn't play gba games, the camera sucked ass, and the dsiware games weren't really that good. Flipnote was cool, I'll give you that, but was it really enough to justify buying a whole new console which lacked GBA support?

Can you put all the emulators on it and play multiplayer, docked/undocked? NES, SNES, N64, GCN. PSX, PS2? I was thinking of hacking mine.

Dunno, I could look into it. Just low-priority when the bigger issue, desu, is that I don't go out and don't have friends locally since I recently moved. I suppose then it's more that issue than other things. Plus I've been playing all of those systems for decades now, and still own them too. If I wanted to play a game on them, I'd more likely just get that game and play it on the real hardware than emulate it on a switch, esp. since right now I don't have a reason to go out.

It's not physically possible to make it more powerful than the gpd win 2. You'll need more cooling and more battery and more expensive stuff like in top tier phones.

You can play emulators on it. All console gens up to N64 and PSX run well. Some PSX games like Tekken 3 are a bit choppy. There's a gamecube emulator but it's very slow. No PS2 emulation. As for multiplayer, if you play games you pirated online, you're most likely going to get banned. However if you have a NAND backup from before you got banned, you can just restore it and you'll be good. If you play games you legally own, you won't get banned. There currently isn't a hack that lets you play online without paying for the service. Honestly this thing isn't as good as the gpd win when it comes to playing emulators, as you can actually play netplay, play most gcn and Wii games on dolphin almost flawlessly, play PS2/Dreamcast games, and even emulate some Wii u games with cemu.
The SNES virtual console games were also n3ds exclusive but by that point snes emulation on the 3ds was basically perfect.

They'll have a slightly more powerful system that allows for the full clock speeds of gpu/CPU/ram allowing for better performance in games. And maybe even letting Devs have access to this to begin with can squeeze better shit out for games.
