People already call uchikoshi a hack for what he did with ZTD so i guess this would just confirm it

>highly respected VN writer

We knew for quite a while that he's a hack.

Stop making the same thread every day

This guy is a hack. Ever17 was his only good VN. 999 and VLR are trash.

R11 was miles better than E17 and Nakazawa was the main guy for that

Uchikoshi became kind of a hack after Ever17, all he can do is recycle ideas for plot twists.
Still makes fun characters and settings though.

>unfinished vn
>better than e17
lmao

LMAO

Nasu's last well written thing was Mahoyo in 2012. And that was based on a book from 1996.

Mods are fucking fags

VLR isn't trash, but it was cowritten.

>Nasu
>good ever
fucking fatefag kys

I hate Fate though, only FSN was good.

that's not nasu

>"epic" storytelling
into the trash it goes

Utter garbage.

VN's are shitty non-games, just like what Cage makes.

Thoughts on Uchikoshi's upcoming big new game? Says the new writer he's working with is bringing interesting new twists:

Yea Forums has a nip mongrel complex. They shit on anything western at the slightest glimpse, without realizing their beloved 2inches rice lords love western devs.

>not even knowing what himmel edition is
LMMMAO, you truly are a brainlet.

hey

please don't shitpost with himmel, i didn't put so much time into it for that

Don't confuse Japs being humble with them actually liking western shit, faggot.

You are a literal brainlet if you think Nasu is considered by most to be the best. That's like claiming JK Rowling is the greatest author of all time.

>there's no way my glorious nipponese writer could ever respect a fucking gaijin!

Attached: 1506651197217.png (636x904, 228K)

It would be stellar if Uchikoshi brought some new twists, if you know what I mean.

Everyone knows that Japanese devs have absolutely terrible taste in western games, this is nothing new.

COMPLEX

What is so deep about this?

Attached: EV_SA02A_3.jpg (1280x960, 588K)

They're pretty deep you know.

To be fair the writing in David Cage games is pretty decent in some parts. You have to remember the whole team of actually competent people behind the games that aren't Cage himself.
It's not hard to imagine an ESL writer to idolize Cage, his body of work is critically acclaimed and highly polished and has little dingleberries of objectively good storytelling by virtue of the big team behind the project.

It's misplaced idolization, of course, but consider this: I loved Connor in Detroit, and I think his characterization and believability and his relationship with Hank at points was all fantastic, objectively good writing. But I understand that all that I enjoyed was good despite David's direction, not because of it.
If I was an ESL glorified slideshow author, I might mistakenly attribute those nuggets of quality to David Cage too.

>Uchikoshi
>most respected
The hack hasn't had an original idea in like 15 years. He's been milking the same twist and idea from Ever17 all these fucking years
