In Alternative yes, but in Extra and Unlimited you can choose. And in Unlimited manga Meiya wins and gives you scenes that show she won in Extra too.

I tried Muv Luv and it fucking sucked. Never played a VN before but it was like reading a book minus all the enjoyable parts of reading a book, such as being able to concentrate in silence without some broad babbling loud japanese in my ear, or visualizing things more beautiful than any artist could portray. I assume I will get assmad responses telling me its because I'm not a true otaku who only masturbates to a specific subset of anime girls, or telling me that I didn't really play it because if I did I would know it gets good 20 hours in when some chick gets tentacle fucked by an alien. And they're right, I dropped it within the first hour or so of watching cardboard cutouts jiggle around the screen with enthralling Shakespearean dialogues such as: "*whaps your pantsu* Nyaaaah!"
