When did you realize it was From's best game to date?

When did you realize it was From's best game to date?

Why would i realize something that is completely false?

After playing 3 hours

Bloodborne still is their best game. But Sekiro just proves that FROM does well with new IPs. Let us let go from rehashes and sequels.

Once I realized I could struggle with a boss and instead of being hardstuck, I can go and other like 4 different areas and try my hand at 6 other bosses instead.

The level design of this game is the best its ever been

When I properly got the mechanics down and I entered an intense sword battle with no room to breath but to deflect every hit and counter.

Numbers don't lie, Bloodborne has been surpassed. By an Xbone game.

After the first main boss

When I forgot Bloodborne existed, oh wait!

>The level design of this game is the best its ever been
This.
The vertical movement in this game is kino and is integrated really well into the combat.

shame it's almost nonexistent in bossfights

I still think Bloodborne is the king. But this game is a VERY close second.
It made me feel like I was playing Dark Souls 1 for the first time again.
Also it has some of the best boss fights From has ever made.

When I cheesed Oniwa by just running around him and grappling.

Aroud the Guardian Ape. It does have some flaws with the stealth mechanics and grappling. I saw too many copy pasted mini bosses than what I would've liked to see.

This is another flaw too. Grappling is barely used and the only moment it was used was against beasts enemies which will either destroy what you're grappling on or have huge attacks.

Bloodborne setting and lore can't be topped
still this game is great and hope it gets a great dlc like the old hunters

This.
I hope we get a DLC. I remember BB was planned to not have DLC until fans begged for one. Is that true?

No.

4 years ago when Bloodborne came out.

activison will secure a yearly release plan don't worry

At the end of the tutorial.

By far the best FS game.

Holy shit i love killing roosters

Unironically my favorite enemy in the game. They remind me of the Carrion Crows.

It's only useful for cheesing things.

When I fought Guardian Ape.

Never thought a fight against a fucking ape could be kino.

Bloodbornes setting was kinda shit. All grey gothic architecture and statue shit. Only area that deviated from this was henwick

You mean Cainhurst.

Honestly one of my major gripes is you shouldnt have to be in "stealth mode" to do aerial takedowns, the regular mobs in this game are easy enough as it is and you can grapple all over the place EXCEPT around most bosses so give a little more incentive to grapple aside from a way to run away and reset enemies, dont think it would have hurt anything

Being able to do stealth kills outside of being undetected would trivialize huge portions of the game.

>Cainhurst
that's just the same shit covered in snow

>want to play Sekiro
>remember I'm still stuck with that fucking ape

Bloodborne is a meme. Sekiro is actually a good game

the biggest casual filter to date as well. all of the Yea Forums elitists are getting tossed/giving up right now.

that's a bold statement

>Metascore
Why should I take them seriously? They gave MW2 a FUCKING 94.

lol no
sekiro is to soulsborne as final doom is to the rest of the doom games

Soulsbabby spotted.

Your in for a treat later.

Two Ape is optional.

From has more than just the Souls series

The Ape's animations are fucking impressive. Even visually he's interesting.

>Get to the very top of Ashina castle and do the boss fight
>Constant back and forth attacks and parties from both sides as well as some mikiri counters and jump kicking sweeps
>Deflecting everything and remaining aggressive and burning him down, breaking posture without doing much damage at all

Once I actually got the fight down it was tense as hell and felt amazing

You didn't like MW2? that was pinnacle COD. campaign and multi was top notch

What you meant to say was: They gave Dark Souls 2 a 91.

After entering THE ZONE

Echo Night 2 is their best game to date.
But I have no complaints about Sekiro.

That's a thrust what the fuck.

Aren't you glad that you didn't take the shitposts about this game seriously?

>get to the bridge
>whittle down the knight
>almost ready for deathblow and near the edge too
>knight starts winding up a huge overhead slash
>NOW'S MY CHANCE
>assume the Mist Raven stance
>fuck yeah this is going to be such a 'nothing personnel, kid' moment
>the knight's greatsword just smashes me to the ground and I die

Well well, weeaboos a shit once again

>more boring swing swing dodge soulshitters love to consume

Halo invented FPS but MW2 perfected it

kicks are essentially thrusting your leg into an enemy

Didn't Bloodborne prove that?

It's not. Maybe it underwhelming because I played DMC5 shorty before this came out. But it's really not better than Bloodborne or Dark Souls.

No, because it's still a Demon's Souls rehash.

>Also it has some of the best boss fights From has ever made.
Picture not related I assume

Attached: Corrupted Joke.webm (480x270, 2.45M)

Lmao
Can you do this for any of the other bosses?

no

From has finally learned how to make a big, spergy, flailing boos with the Guardian Ape.
After countless terrible big bosses on the souls/borne games, they fucking nailed it

*blocks your path*

Attached: Midir_Dark_Souls_3.jpg (1280x720, 138K)

Midir is too big and his actual sperg attacks are fucking awful
