Apex Legends is overrated. Its netcode is fucking terrible and bad. The game is horribly optimised and poorly balanced. The tickrate of 20 is severely suboptimal, and the lack of Wallrunning really made the game feel slow and uninspired.
EA paid streamers literally a million dollars to play their game, and the streamers' sub numbers dropped because the gameplay was not interesting to the viewers.
They also paid to shill Yea Forums constantly, though their shilling on Yea Forums was low tier and ineffective because they tried to use "based" as an upvote, and they tried to falseflag as a SJW who was falseflagging as /pol/ who was falseflagging as a videogamer in a massive ironic pileup.
Additionally, there were claims of forced diversity and tokenism, though these claims were never the main focus.
