romancing sae just won't work, while it seems like a long time the interrogation in game only lasts a couple of hours, and then after that you only see sae for a couple of days. A romance with her just would not work, she would not be available for any of the dates or social events. I like sae, but it just wont happen

Honestly, the reveal of the girl was pretty dissapointing for me. I didn't really think P5 needed anymore characters, and she's not really appealing as a waifu because she looks bland as fuck, so that's fucked. If she IS the FeMC, then that's also disappointing because I never really wanted that feature. And the fact that Atlus would spend so much time and resources and money developing that instead using it on other legitimate improvements and additions is quite frankly troubling.
I'm not 100% dissapointed with what P5R is yet, but I'm not exactly hyped by all I'm seeing.

I don't know about that, the main plot was generally well paced, huge improvement over 3 and 4. Music stays fresh throughout with some spicy tracks only appearing in the tail end of the game. The change in dungeon design getting worse and worse was the only major problem I noticed. Nothing else stood out as much.

I don't think the final dungeons were terrible, just notably less interesting than the earlier dungeons. I love the game overall but I think boat and space could use a heavy rework if they decide to remake the game.

That's one aspect I didn't like. The fuckig SOMA item introduced in Sae's palace was more of a curse than a blessing. Sure, it fills everything back up for everyone, but I as the player am still fucking exhausted.

People think the girl will be FeMC or at least the playable main character in her own story that involves Akechi. There's actual evidence behind these theories, since the Smash Bros datamine found a possible female variant for Joker.

Pretty much what we have is the trailer vs the Smash leak. People think that since the Smash datamine might have this girl as a alternate for Joker then she's the FeMC, but the trailer presents the girl in a way that doesn't make sense for her to be a female Joker. I think it's more likely that the girl is meant to be in a spin-off MC in what might end up being the Eternal Punishment to P5's Innocent Sin than being the female Joker equivalent.

Was it a direct sequel, an alternate telling, or it's own thing entirely? Were they both full-length games or did they feel like two shorter halves that made a whole? It's a much more interesting direction than the same game but with some extra content and scenes like FES and Golden for sure.
