It's still telltale shit but 4 is easily the closest in quality to season 1 than any of the other seasons.

The studio had been in fucking freefall for almost a decade, the reason they shut suddenly is because they were trying to secure more financing (How they were trying to swing that when they were almost guarantee'd to not get their money back is beyond me) when all potential investors backed out.

It was a company piling on debt when it didn't have the market presence or assets to back it up. Also having to surrender money in royalties for almost all of their games couldn't have helped, they really needed to make some games with their own IPs.

AJ actually grew on me a bit during the current season, but Clem is still the one of the best characters in TWD universe and the best from the games along with Lee.

These games don't innovate or iterate in the slightest, they don't even branch off, hell witcher has better branching of storylines and that's a full on AAA game. You pretty much play as a Mexican raising his wifes kids who your niece gets killed right away for no reason. Then clementine is some edgelord for some reason.Also the mexican calls the walkers muertos.

S02 was good if you sided with Kenny every time and let everyone else die.Just play through s02 and just settle that shes safe in Wellington and the zombie Apocalypse ended soon after she arrived.

If you chose to go with Kenny in s02 he dies in a car accident within a two minute flashback. And Wellington is overtaken.

It's more like I really loved season one, but thought that season 2 was lesser in every way by comparison outside of some initial good ideas and genuinely strong voice performances.

So I've just been slow to find the motivation to get into season 3 ever since. I've heard it's decent though, I should really give it a go.

I still say Lilly should probably have been the one to come back and have a potential redemption arc in season 2 instead of Kenny.

The dynamic love-hate relationship with Kenny was one of my favorite aspects of season one, but his story already had a solid conclusion.

Zombie lore works best when they’re basically crazy people with a taste for flesh. Resident Evil did them best where they are virus infected people who can be killed by the normal shit you would use to put a person down. In their case though, they act like they’re on PCP or some other stimulant that lets them ignore pain and going in to shock so you have to physically destroy their ability to function.

The walking dead pushes any believability because they ignore the 21 days later scenario of “how long until these things just can’t function any more because they literally rotted away or their eyes and ears decayed to the point they can’t tell where anything is.”

They’re well past the point hordes would be an issue and further in to having to adopt agrarian, self-sustaining communities while dealing with the physical reality of dying meaning you turn in to a flesh craving monster, which is bad if you die someplace you’ll come back and bite someone else. That and the inevitable warmongering because someone is going to be able to exert force over a large amount of land and demand tribute/conquer people around them. Oh, and infrastructure collapsing, causing things like floods along rivers as dams break and the like.

I lost all interest after the trainwreck that was Season 2.

I liked how High School of the Dead handled their Zombies the most.
They gave an explanation as to why rotting or freezing them is not a reliable option as well as gave them weaknesses that the main characters can work around (Zombies being blind, eg). Other than the usual Zombies hearing everything. Though TWD did it even more interesting giving them sense of smell.

Not to mention how the fuck are they still finding usable gasoline? Is somebody running a petroleum refining facility out there in the apocalypse to run their Mad Max kingdom?

Clem and AJ wander around a bit. It's mentioned she found him at the farm and something bad went down that gives Clem creepy nightmares, but we don't know the details yet. Maybe it'll be explained in the final episode. They're looking for a place to stay. For some reason the Hispanic baseball guy whose name escapes me wasn't an option. Clem teaches AJ stuff. They find a boarding school with people Clem's age (late teens). They get to stay. Their leader has a mullet and has a deal with raiders to give them people as child soldiers. He wants to give them Clem. Confrontation. AJ kills him out of nowhere. Clem and AJ are banished. They wander around, meet a whisperer boy who's cool. Clem likes-likes him. AJ gets injured, they go back to the school. Whisperer guy stays outside. They prepare for raiders who will attack, led by Lilly.They win, but lots of kids die and some are taken. Clem and AJ interrogate injured raider. He dies. They learn about boat on which their friends are being held. Whisperer helps them get walkers for cover, turns out to be a homo. They attack the boat, put a bomb in the engine room and save their friends, but shit goes down. Lilly can be killed/she kills the whisperer. Boat blows up with everyone on it, Clem hits her head and blacks out. End of episode 3.

Clem can be a lesbian or get blacked, one of the love interests can be kidnapped (not conditional on being Clem's bf/gf)

It's not like milk or bananas, it doesn't just randomly give out in a month.
Using old gasoline can damage the long term life of the engine since it'll build up residue inside all the working parts and harm how well it can work, and it doesn't work as well since all the volatile burning parts have started evaporating.
That's why you'll see a lot of people when the seasons change take out their mower or snowblower and just have it burn off all the old gas.

I remember hearing that a human body would take about 2-3 years to degrade into just bones if there weren't scavengers to break up the larger parts. With the walking dead zombies, they still need at least their brain and spinal cord intact to function, so after THIS long of just them milling about in the streets and constantly being exposed to the elements, as well as things like flies and bacteria and fungi growing all over them because they're rotting , another big thing about them from being walking corpses. Nevermind if you take into account actual need for nutriment to not atrophy after a few weeks like the infected in 28 Days Later. Just because the writers have been too lazy to actually explain the zombies doesn't mean that the zombies are magically immortal.

Dude chill. The kino ending is staying at Wellington and it's accepted that Kenny is alive. We can agree that the Wellington ending is the best ending. Season 2 had some good writing in it that made sense if you side with Kenny and see that Jane lied about everything and was the boogeyman. I don't know why you hate Kenny so much.

His behaviour was erratic and unnecessarily aggressive. He showed obsessive behaviour toward the baby. And his demands to push forward made no sense logically (supplies being behind them and there being no rush) and cost the lives of the group. His willingness to kill before he realised what was going on. And his disregard for all others including clementine when she tries to reason with him.

Puzzle Agent is pretty fun but the sequel's basically a retread.

There was a town nextover that would've been a good holdout and would have had enough supplies most importantly shelter. You have to keep moving or you will die. AJs mom would've turned while they were in the shelter and killed them all.

The group pleads with him to let the new born and mother rest but he only gives them one night causing the mother to die of exhaustion and for the group to be ambushed. And it turns out there was no supplies at the Town at all. Causing luke to die and the others to leave after hunting for supplies on the otherside of the river.

Literally the only reason to still follow TWD is if you still can't get over Clem being your daughterfu

She was going to die anyways and it's best she died on the road then in a small enclosure. They got ambushed because Jane knew it would happen because she was manipulating the gang that ambushed them or worked with them. It's why she left before they left and during the ambush it's why she came back to "help".

I think Kenny was objectively in the wrong at the end of season 2, but as an option he is the right choice.
He is in effect an abusive stepfather to Clem and he's a danger to her, himself, and everybody around him, but Jane is comparatively a child and is a much weaker person to have as a traveling companion in the zombie apocalypse. The baby was a contrived plot point but the hacks at telltale can't tell a walking dead story without a child that needs protecting so it was going to happen eventually.

Jane was a grown woman who was a liar and master manipulator. She killed the entire group and Kenny protected Clem the whole time.

Gasoline becomes gelatinous and useless after a couple years. You can prolong the degeneration of gasoline using stabilizers when storing gas. But given that most gas isn't treated this way the idea of any running vehicles past five years is going to be completely retarded without an explicit or obvious biofuel or oil refinery producing "fresh" gas.

This series got to have three sequels and a spin off while The Wolf Among Us got nothing. Fuck Telltale. Even from beyond the grave they still manage to fuck things up.

She's basically a teenager, she has no clue what she's doing, not more than anybody else at least. The only manipulation she did was hiding the baby to show Clem how unstable Kenny is. Painting her as some kind of master manipulator ignores how stupid she is.

And why? when she had been shown to be fearful of children does she do for the sake of AJ.
