Switch Revision

Nintendo is working on two new versions of the Switch that could be released as soon as this summer, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal. One of the models is said to be a cheaper variant, while the other device reportedly has “enhanced features targeted at avid video gamers.”

The WSJ says the cheaper model will omit the vibration feature, suggesting that it won’t have detachable Joy-Con controllers at all; it’s said to be seen as a successor to the 3DS. Nikkei reported earlier this year that Nintendo was planning to release a smaller Switch with a focus on portability.

>even smaller buttons

Cheaper one makes sense.
Enhanced one is probably just slightly better so you can stream on twitch without a capture card or some shit.

Just give me a non shit resolution while docked and I'm sold

Enhanced one hopefully has a better CPU somehow so we can get some games to actually run at 60 like Dark Souls

They said the enhanced revision won't be as strong as the PS4Pro and Xbox One X so it's at the minimum as strong as an Xbox One and PS4 if not stronger.

I don’t give a shit about resolution, the only thing that would make me consider upgrading would be stable 60 FPS on games like Astral Chain. I’m pretty happy with the switch as is, so it’d need to be a really good deal to get me to buy
At least i could give my current one to my gf if I cave

that would be more than enough considering the graphics of Switch games

So....the base Nintendo Switch?
