Can we agree that The Good Hunter is still the most powerful Soulsborne protagonist?

Can we agree that The Good Hunter is still the most powerful Soulsborne protagonist?

Hunter > Ashen One > Wolf > Chosen Undead > Slayer of Demons > Bearer of the Curse

SoD should be second place at least, they resist and either pacify or absorb the most powerful entity in the world.

Pretty sure wolf speed blitzes literally everyone and actually has skill with the weapons he wields. He can parry pretty much anything and riposte with ease.. Great ones don't stand much chance.

Only retards use the term Soulsborne.

Who gives a shit?

Attached: 1364299816818.jpg (500x500, 74K)

None of that matters then you are fighting eldritch metaphysical beings which Hunter and Slayer of Demons turn into at the end of their quests
Wolf simply couldn't kill them

Wolf isn't nearly as tough as the Hunter though, and primarily fights human or humanoid enemies. Most enemies are Bloodborne are grotesque Lovecraftian horrors.

Power level autism is fun

Go back to your waifu/cunny/pol/whatever threads. We don't give a shit about them either.

You can agree.
However my fictional character is more powerful than any other fictional character anyone or anything can ever think of and therefore your argument is irrelevant.
Also, you're gay.

what's a better term?

Fromborne

DarkBlood

I want to marry Solaire!

>wolf
?

Black Knight fucking when? WHEN??

Attached: dsbkmf.jpg (720x960, 68K)

>Bearer of the Curse manages to transcend the Undead Curse and retain his humanity
>a curse that was laid on humanity at the beginning of time by the strongest god in the setting
>implying that he's not the strongest of them all

He's talking about Sekiro, even though it's not a souls game

That doesn't translate to raw power tho besides he only managed it with the crowns

In terms of strength
Hunter>Bearer>Slayer>Ashen=Chosen>Wolf

Hunter cannot die until he accomplishes his mission, no downsides to dying, has guns and cannons.
Bearer cannot die, cannot hollow.
Slayer has actually good magic
Ashen and Chosen are pretty much the same
Wolf is by far the weakest

Ashen kills the culmination of every Cinder to ever pass the flame, while Chosen fought a burnt out husk of a king. Ashen One is much more mobile and skilled, as you can see with weapon arts.

But the wolf cannot die and cannot hollow. He draws life from those around him. He can also res very quickly when needed.

Ashen one is actually the strongest canonically, hes the only one that has infinite revives and literally kills fucking demons, gods and other unholy beings.

Honestly we cant even make a fair comparison, Ashen one kills the soul of cinder which is a being composed of all the previous chosen ones who linked the flame and plus gwyn who was the god of sunlight so I mean how would a flying squid even compete with that.

Pretty sure that the Good Hunter can potentially die if he gives up/loses control and turns into a Beast.

Soulsborneo. We have Sekiro now remember.

Soulkiroborne.

Wolf and Hunter are the two most powerful. Hunter has a dash with lots of i-frames, quick attacks and long distance GUN PARRY. Wolf has built-in block-parry and prosthetic tools similar to trick weapons AND he has combat techniques which can also give him quick attacks to overwhelm.

Souls characters have fucking nothing in their basic combat. Fucking NOTHING. In fact, you know what? They don't even come in to the conversation because Wolf has the Mortal Blade which can fucking KILL THE UNDYING. All the Souls protags are fucked. Even Demon's Souls guy is fucked when he;s in phantom form, because Wolf can deal with that too. Hunter deals with basic combat, Wolf can deal with the rest. Wolf vs Hunter is the only discussion that should matter at all.

He's marked by the Moon Presence, preventing him from succumbing to beasthood in the opening. They only get "executed" by Gehrman once they served their purpose.

>Play bloodborne drunk as fuck
>Destroy bosses in 1 or 2 tries
>Play it sober
>Can't kill the same bosses as easily
I might have an alcohol issue

Ashen One killed Gael you know

...Souls?

This

Bloodborne killed orphan of kos and ludwig even without his mates

Soulslikes?

Drunk on the Pungent Blood Cocktails?

two rotten corpses that can barely move, and your point is?

BloodDark

Move n slash

Ludwig and the Orphan of Kos might have looked freaky, but they were optimized killing machines.

DeS and DS protagonists are probably the strongest if they are sorcerers.

>two rotten corpses that can barely move
Never played Bloodborne for sure.

Garbage

Magic is weak in Dark Souls and has always been inferior to sword n board. Most magic builds are extremely high risk/reward, sacrificing everything for damage boosts in order to one-shot enemies in surprise attacks.

He got the crowns by killing shit that's hard to kill.

Wolf is the weakest but his game is the best.

Someone here clearly hasn't played demon's souls

You got me. Is it actually just as good?

Wolf can't parry until he has depleted their posture bar and he does fuck all damage even with the mortal blade

>Just as good
Magic in DeS is hilariously broken, it's very powerful in DS1 as well but not nearly as much.

Wolf canonicaly can only die twice

Maiden pacifies the Old One, not you. And you become its newest and most powerful demon, the Slayer of Demons doesn't absorb it. You just break the false king's seal and then defeat the real king. Whose place you will likely take if you accept its power.

>DS3 BK
>no neck seam

He can die as many times as he wants, though he only has one chance at reviving himself between every rest before dragon rot starts to spread

Soulsbrokino

Trial&error-likes

SoD real power comes from becoming a monumental in good ending

As much as I hate DaSII, Bearer of the Curse is pretty fucking strong, with a Dark build they pretty one-shot everything
Also the most memorable maiden

Reminder

how he gonna be most powerful when he's just a dream like lmao OPEN YOUR EYES NIGGA boom he's defeated like hahahaha

DeS was the reason why magic was given limited uses until DS3.
F I R E S T O R M

DeDaBloRo.

Rolls off the tongue, fun to say, and everyone will know exactly what you mean when you type it out.

Wolf is cool guy. But chosen undead is savior of of the world.

The Soul of Cinder isn't literally as strong as every one who linked the fire combined. It just represents them. It has aspects and facets of them which is why it has different combat forms. Not really disagreeing with your point that Ashen > Chosen, but a lot of people seem to think that the Soul of Cinder is like some DBZ style fusion.

how can we even determine the power of a fucking RPG protagonist if all depends on how shit you are at playing him

Lore?

Sekiro
>Defeats a powered up version of the best swordsman in Japan
>Defeats a failed Shura
>Overcomes the Divine Dragon's trial
>Can potentially become Shura, a sort of demon/war god thing
>At least one canon death (shanked at Hirata Estate)
Hunter
>Slays the fuck out of every monster that crosses his path
>Defeats the original hunter (probably weaker than in his prime but still a unit)
>Defeats an apparition(?) of the first hunter's apprentice who probably is in her prime
>No canon deaths but who even knows how much of what he did was real what with nightmare/dream fuckery
Slayer of Demons
>Defeats a fuck load of demons
>Either becomes a monumental or joins with the Old One, the source of soul power and demons
>One canon death to Dragon God
Chosen Undead
>Defeats all of Gwyn's four knights
>Defeats Manus
>Defeats Kalameet
>Defeats husk of Gwyn
>One canon death to Seath
Bearer of the Curse
>Defeats those asshole cats
>Defeats manmade dragon and Sinh
>Defeats fragments of Manus
>Defeats Ivory King
>No canon deaths
Ashen One
>Defeats Soul of Cinder
>Defeats Gael w/ Dark Soul
>Defeats Midir
>Defeats Nameless King, nearest we'll get to a fully powered Gwyn, even if he's lacking Sunlight Blade
>No canon deaths

Ashen One and SoD probably has the most impressive feats, even if Ashen One's game is probably the most boring and stale overall.

Strayed>ACVD merch>Leos Klein>AC4 raven> AC2 raven

This is the kind of braindead "thinking" that gives birth to npc memes

wow the deep and well written ''lore'' of soulsborne games
>YOU ARE A GUY KILLING GODS WOAH
>YOU ARE A GUY KILLING ELDER GODS WOAH
>btw everyone's questline will have a downer ending crawling in my skin those wounds will never heal :(
>*overused orchestral music plays in the background*

His name is Sekiro

That's just what Isshin calls him

Fuck you

>People want to count Sekiro as part of the term despite the gameplay and franchise being different.
May as well call it Soulkingrobornecore if you're going that far. I mean, you HAVE played more games by FromSoft than Souls, haven't you?

>wolf simply couldn't kill them
>what is mortal blade

My first FromSoft game was Ninja Blade. No one even remembers it.

Bearer of the Curse has Hexes.

So he fucking wins because fuck hexes.

We might as well count Otogi, and in that case Otogi is the strongest protag.

I'm sorry, but can anyone else binoboost?

>Bearer of the curse can Binoboost with huge poise while casting Hexes like Darkstorm and stack Dark infusion with Resonant weapon.

He's a fucking Naruto character at that point.

>no poise
>can't backstab
>no magic
lol, he's last

SickDark

Sekiro has infinite stamina and a 100% block that also acts as a parry

His parry only works (in this case) if he's blocking an attack that makes the others run out of stamina.

Slayer of the Demons is literally equal to the Hunter. SoD becomes the fucking guardian of the universe in his world or leads what is basically a Cthulhu on a rampage.

Can't parry spells nigga.

Sekiro literally throws lightning back

>Hunter > Ashen One > Wolf > Chosen Undead > Slayer of Demons > Bearer of the Curse
>character ratings
fuckin retard

>Implying you can throw back Darkstorm.

>firecracker during the animation
Face it you've lost

>Casting Speeds before the animation.

You're either a retard or underaged.

Not even close
Not as agile or strong as ds3 character(remember this dude can do fucking baclflips with giant weaponry), not as fast as the wolf and not as disgustingly overpowered as the magic the demon's souls main character uses(you can even use instant revive spells) and not as durable as any souls character
Hes's just fastest than half of the main characters, in the rest of the areas he gets curbstomped

BotC at end of SotFS is highest because he achieves immortality without undead status and absorbs the souls of all past chosen undead
Otherwise accurate

Kings field and shadow tower
One of these days I'll give a try to armored core

Pretty much this
The only ones who think the hunter is stronger than any other character in these games is just a motherfucker sonydork

MUH SPEED AND BULLETS

Honestly, The Chosen Undead would win, Just because of how hilariously broken backstabs are. Wolf at least has to sneak them, Chosen Undead can do nit mid-fight and only needs a single animation frame to do it.

> Wolf lies dead, consciousness slowly fading away
> He looks up at his opponent - the one who killed him, once again. no matter how many times he tries, he cannot win
> Everyone is dead from dragnrot. He looses more and more each tie he fights this unwinnable fight
> He looks up...straight into a dung pie point down
> Havelmom smiles, spreads its arms wide...
> "Well? What is it?"

why is that relevant?
isn't gael just some random undead?

And he was a random undead
The thing that makes him more "important" is that he consumed the dark soul by taking the blood of the pygmy lords

i always thought that it would get stronger with each linking, as a way to make it harder to maintain the age
btw, how do you think aldritch defeated the SoC? did he just eat it?

does seath's death really count? he was literally unkilable

Game made by From software post demons souls

People not saying the Ashen One are fucking retarded. He fucking kills the previous lords, who managed to get to the flame and Gael, whos pumped up on The Dark Soul.

daddy's cummies

just wait IF they made new armored core game

>it's like dark souls with gundam XD!!!

CU has the advantage of poise and is probably the most durable of the bunch.

wolf is the fastest and most mobile, can resurrect himself multiple times, and has a sword literally designed to permanently kill the undying
i say he takes this easily

Suicide Fuel

Gael is a mirror of the player. He's a random dude who had freakish willpower that led him to keep on trucking through piles of figurative (and probably literal) shit until he gained a great deal of power, as well as a chunk of the dark soul. Vergil would get it, they have motivation.

Hard to say, honestly. But I think it counts as one canon death, as the main way to proceed is to die and get locked away, but it isn't a hard death like in Demon's Souls where the Dragon God flat out kills you in a cutscene to get you into the Nexus.

>They made him a Lord of Cinder, not for virtue, but for might
Disregarding that shitty comic where Aldrich is some voodoo looking nigga, he was probably just some fat strong hentai rapist looking dude who strength smashed everything and had a low IQ. Maybe he was like Donovan or the "do not avert your gaze" guy from Berserk.

Vergil vs Gael who wins?

Resurrect is not that impressive when the slayer of demons can spam a spell that does exactly the same

>can resurrect himself multiple times,
he also dies in 2 hits

didn't he turn into sludge? unless he is devouring someone, he doesn't have a proper body

Game never says when exactly he stopped being a man and turned into a literal pile of shit. Presumably he was a man / humanoid at some point.

He oulasted every other being in the world on sheer willpower and consumed everything left to basically make himself the dark soul

>not Look Skyward
Learn to BM like a pro

Gael is a rotten corpse too.

Everything that happen in bloodborne is real because dreams and nightmares are ony names, in true they are difirent layers of existence.
