I hear people complain that daggerfall is "procedurally generated". But that's not true, right? I though procedural generation meant things are randomly generated as you play. But all of Daggerfall's towns and dungeons were randomly generated before the game was released, and they're the same across every copy of the game -- excluding leveled things like wild monsters and loot.

Jesus what the fuck?
I've only played Daggerfall for like a few hours and really liked it but this looks insane.

The modding community is working on VR, Multiplayer, 3D NPCs and much more.

I have a question.
When this version of Daggerfall in Unity is finished, what will be done from this point?
I understand that the idea is to be able to play Daggerfall in better conditions, that it has fewer errors, that it is more pleasant to handle etc ... I understand it. But the game is too big, and it's a shame to have better graphics, and better control, but there are no improvements in that world, to make it feel a little more alive. Who of you really explored that world? The only thing that is worth reviewing are the caves and catacombs, but the rest is nothing really remarkable, it would be nice if they invented a method of travel, that would allow you to travel quickly through that world, and that you will progressively find enemies on the roads or small cities everywhere.
I do not know, I feel that improving all this, so that this map remains huge and empty is a pity. I wonder if I open mods for this.

Fuck off Todd, Skyrim was bullshit, like Fallout 4.
Maybe Skyrim with 750 mods is awesome, but Skyrim vanilla is crap.

Modding community adding more content too. There are already mods to take advantage of Daggerfall huge world and improve the exploration.

Procedural generation is not the same as randomization. You can have randomization of maps, enemies, loot or anything else done via procedural generation.

In this case, yes.

Can you play it with the original DF graphics, just with widescreen and fov options?
