Dune II was great fun in its time, still has very enjoyable music and visuals, I greatly prefer the gameplay in general to the the rock-paper-scissors that is present in literally every modern (~1999+) RTS but I'm not going to even try playing the vanilla ever again. It's the most efficient, fastest way to destroy your mouse hand wrist.

Purple is core 3x3, but this is out of date. I've been busy lately, and what time I've had has been dedicated to DMC5. FUCK it's so good. DBFZ's massive new balance patch might honestly put it back in the core. Smash Ultimate might be on the chopping block since while it's great I haven't touched it as much as I expected to.

Probably just a mixture of work/grad school and devoting a bunch of time to the Itsuno Power Hour of Dragon's Dogma and DMC5. I've gone to an on-campus Smash Club a couple of times to see friends though, and I'll watch some footage here and there. It'll be worth it in the long run.
Also I'm too cheap to pay for online unless it's completely worth it. Maybe with the new Power Rangers fighting game I'll get it so I can play both that and Smash online on my Switch.

I'm a pretty big cheapskate too, so I feel you on that, but then again I did get online just for Splatoon, and I think I've played six matches of Smash online that weren't vs friends.
I honestly kinda wish I was into Sentai / Power Rangers for that game, Kamen Rider is more my thing and I'd love a fighting game for that (I know about the PSP ones before someone tells me).

The fighting game is what made me go back and check out some Power Rangers honestly. I think the game is super interesting, especially with Cl0ckwerk and Shady K being the guys in charge of designing the systems. It's got some really weird inspirations, ranging from early Vs series to BBTag to SFxT to Skullgirls, and I can't even figure out what the Megazord Ultra system reminds me of; it's basically Jin's Blodia super from MvC turned into a whole system.
The roster is fucking weird too. They have three comic characters and decided against SPD Shadow & Koragg (two cool motherfuckers) for much less important female rangers from their seasons, and what's weirder is I'm not even mad because damn the female models in this game have some fucking nice hips.

Since you have JSRF on there I'd heavily recommend the album Memories of Tokyo-To by 2Mello. It's essentially a tribute album to Jet Set Radio's aesthetic and music stylistically; it's all very funky, groovy music that's packed with samples, and the handful of times he uses original JSR samples are perfectly placed.
