Grateful! As Sakurai doesn't like to use autistic designs pulled straight from a Mongolian underwater basketweaving imageboard, we'd get Steve in his most faithful, iconic form, with an excellent blocky stage, remixes of C418's wonderful ambiance, and perhaps a Creeper assist trophy. I'd be quite satisfied for the protagonist of one of the best-selling and once globally beloved games out there to finally take his place in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Despite being very against it at first, I've come around to Steve being a fighter, to the point where I no longer seethe at the shitty 3D model everyone spams here.
In the end it got me thinking, why did I care so much who gets in and who doesn't? Sure playing as my favorites would be great but we all know Sakurai chooses who he wants and doesn't give a fuck about what people want, for the most part. At the end of the day it's more content for a game I enjoy, and if I get some good remixes out of various ost's, I'll be happy regardless of who gets added.

If sakurai didn't choose who we want we wouldn't have the fighter ballot. He added people straight from that and most of the ultimate newcomers are from it. He picks who is unique to the roster. The only reason we have 9 fire emblem fags is because Japan is nuts for it. Everyone loves it. Hence the reason we have them all. But it doesn't matter because he didn't choose the dlc thank god
