I think it is intended to be a different track, but the fact they gave it the same name suggests tome that they're trying to astroturf the original since it's, well, very bland.

The whole Star Cup from Mario Kart 8 is the best cup in the game and one of the best cups in the series.

I like F-Zero but god is Mute City actually a terrible track. Half of the track is just boosts, it's near impossible to make a comeback on since your boosts are meaningless outside of the end of the track. Fortunately, Big Blue is somewhat okay: Still has boosts but enough track to race & make a comeback if you got fucked early.

I like the F-Zero tracks just for the mere fact that there are no coins.

this was great(mortifying) in 64, but since they widened the track and made it bigger, its absurdly easy to dodge thwomps, go through those tight corridors or the bridge, or make that hairpin U-turn after the staircase

Baby Park is just tiresome to see in modern Mario Kart. I know how this track used to be, with Bowser Shells & all. If you're gonna make a track built for chaotic gameplay, it should go all out, and it hasn't been able to since the Bowser Shell is gone, so it kinda just sucks.
Bring back Bowser Shells already.
