Most weapons seriously lack a sense of impact.

The later half of the game turns into a mad dash toward the finish line. It could've worked both thematically and gameplay wise but the game stretches out this stage of heightened momentum for way too long, ultimately making it tedious more than thrilling.

I've learned to a appreciate the game's ending but it was without a doubt handled poorly and justifiably left a sour taste in people's mouths.

My biggest gripe was how anonymous the visual identity for galaxies had become. I loast interest entirely half-way through, because while I saw development in the gameplay, the visuals just didn't develop in any meaningful way throughout the adventure.

3) unit movement bugs like cavalry walking when told to run or infantry not getting on/off walls

It's neither explicitly stated nor implied anywhere in either game that Cosal and Kanon were turned into Sharl, and the fact that they were able to be turned into Sharl doesn't make a lot of sense considering the basis of Revelt's plan. Interaction is also closer to a petsim than it is to being an Atelier game without battle, though I'm not sure if there's exactly a precise genre it fits into.
