>bag has a finite carrying capacity
Bag has a finite carrying capacity
>item is not stackable
stuff like this rarely ever contributes to a game's quality and it's really annoying
>Limited space for key items
>Not enough room in inventory to carry them all
>A single item can take more than one space
you hoarders need to clean your room.
This is why vanilla skyrim will always be shit
Carrying capacity limits are fine as long as you can store items elsewhere.
>being a pack rat
There's a certain satisfaction to winning with limited item space. Feels more challenging than someone walking around with x99 of every healing item.
>undroppable key items adds to weight limit
>cannot add item to stack despite having the same item name
It would make the hoenn games a 10/10 instead of a 9/10
Say what you want but these are undeniably bullshit
Goddamn earthbound really had a shit inventory system
>A key takes up inventory space
>A gun takes up the same amount of space
>Key rings clearly exist in this universe
>game's inventory system is based on a weight system instead of a slot system
In principle, I actually don't mind this. I like a level of choice and micromanagement in my RPGs. Not to say some games like Earthbound don't manage to fuck it up though, making key items take up inventory space is almost always cancer.
>blacktail
i like inventory management
when you can carry too much stuff it just feels like the game isnt finished
>Items you're required to pick up and can never drop take up space in your limited inventory
>limit carry weight is tied to a stat instead of bag upgrade
>carry weight is increased by strength
>carry capacity is bag size
>corpses are infinite carry capacity
