Also got one for my Samsung phone for ~$140 when I dumped iphone after their ADL donation, but haven't really fucked with that. I've read there's now an attachment for Vive where it can be used wirelessly. I got into VR early, then at around the same time my job suddenly became a lot more fucking time consuming, so have had almost no time for it.
Also, managed to fucking BREAK one of my VR Pros, and they don't want to hear a fucking thing about any chance of fixing or replacing it. In any event, any here have all or one of: Vive, Rift, Samsung for Android? My fav or still Google Earth, where you get to play the part of sort a very fast flying bird and get to travel anywhere in the world and visit in VR.
Has anyone played a VR game recently that they'd recommend? Also, as far as the PS4 game, has anyone who also has rift or vive found that it' s worth having? Thanks lads.

I can't play Talos!! It isn't cracked. Scene has been slacking heavily. Tried distance a bit but found turning with the analog stick to be way to strong. Visuals are nice though.

However, I will still tell you my top pick for 2018 was Windlands 2. It has a short, but enjoyable story mode with a decent number of bosses.

Vive games run through SteamVR. SteamVR also supports the Rift and Mixed Reality, so there are no exclusive SteamVR games unless there is something weird about the controls that would prevent you from playing.

I have not tried the newest tech, the older tech isn't as bad as still images would make you think. The only time I ever notice the screen door is on loading screens. It looks fine in motion. The blurred peripheral vision was much more jarring for me at first. However, you do eventually learn to look with your head more than with your eyes and don't notice it after a while.

Eh? user, not sure what you're talking about, maybe there's been a major change in last fw months, but there certainly are a number of "exclusives" for Rift or Vive. I've seen them when DLing from Steam. Maybe the two came to an arrangement over last 5-6 months and now games there are NO games that are exclusives, but there sure as yell used to be as late as Sept...
