This is why NGB will always be superior to any DMC game especially when getting the full potential of that game hinges on playing DMD mode. Why is this the only game to do higher difficulty settings right?

That's true but it always seemed odd how NGBfags never bring this up. It seems pretty important since to get the most out of DMC you have to play DMD mode.
I liked the first DMC DMD difficulty. DMC 3, 4, 5 just made the enemies sponges.

this was literally inspired by DMC. that's what DMC does. in the first one there's certain bosses and enemies that don't even appear on easier difficulties.

I like both series. I love that DMC is back im great form but would be even happier if we get a new Ninja Gaiden game. Or even a remake of Black, 2 and 3.

Wrong again. The enemies are drastically more aggressive and different and they block/parry FS.

Games like this or other old school franchises just can't sell enough to justify the size of the dev teams they'd require without significant media buzz, so they tend to lie dormant for half a decade until they can come back when people are actually starved for that kind of gameplay

Honestly I never actually bothered to try it. 2 left me a little disappointed with how rushed it felt, and then Itagaki left and 3 was utter dog shit. I pretty much gave up on Team Ninja at that point. How does RE compare to Black or 2?
