Steam: >old stagnant company >rips developers off >allows all kinds of garbage into the store >can't launch games directly >valve doesn't even make games anymore
Epic: >Makers of unreal engine >Actually make games >Offers developers a good deal >Can launch games directly >Offers a chance to improve on the failures of steam >no le based gaben xD xD cancer
>Yea Forums used to stand fairly unified against things that fucked over consumers >Now a majority just troll about those things actually being good because of (you)s and being contrarian because most consumers these days know corps aren't your friend
Yea Forums then - 25-45 avg age Yea Forums now - 15-25 avg age zoomers have shit up the entire site, virtually every board.

Honestly, Steam drones, has Valve made anything successful in the past few years?
>Steam machines? Flop >Steam controllers? Flop >SteamOS? Flop >Steam Link? Flop >Shartifact? You better believe that was a flop >Source 2? Not even made to even be a flop >Steam Videos? Flop >Steam VR? Fired devs
Literally the only money they have is from rent controlling other peoples games like a corrupt landlord, and that's gonna end soon.

Are epic threads the best way to farm (you)s right now? Or should I repost stuff from reddit, resetera, and twitter?
>like seeing Reddit unironically thinking the Mueller report will send Trump to jail Well redditors are stupid, powerful jews will never go to jail in USA

>everything I don't like is reddit >stop hating anti consumer companies reee

This is my biggest concern. I suppose in some regards I wouldn't mind the decentralisation of games on pc, but when it's in an era of shit businesses & 90+% digital download purchases, even those that argue for EPIC being good for decentralisation, I fear going back to pre-launcher era WITHOUT physical copies. Will be utter shite, especially when it revolves around non-stop efforts to corner markets, which is an era EPIC is hellbent on bringing our future.

Valve drones don't remember a time before Steam - to them, DRM free physical releases never happened until maybe GOG, or they think they all happened in the 90's with DOS era floppy games.
