Skyrim

Loved it to be honest.

No lie Vanilla Skyrim is only a 7/10 game at best even for its time. Mods are the only thing that made that game as popular as it was but I think we all know this.
Absolutely BASED!

This game should be turning 10 this year. Great writing for a Sonic game.

Mad Max.

I'll defend this game to my grave, but I understand if some people find it subpar or tedious.

Friend gifted me this game on steam but I haven't touched it yet. Why do you like it?

Etrian mystery Dungeon, I just wish the main story's final boss was much harder.

It does get dull when you are just grinding through for all the endings.

The character interaction and story are great, and you general feel the struggle they have trying to defeat this giant monstrosity destroying their home. It's quite an emotional ride when that character you worked so hard to trains dies and there's nothing you can do to prevent the outcome.
And I know a lot of people feel indifferent about the game play, but I quite enjoy the mixed of SRPG/Princess Maker system approach they had for it. Using skills to dodge away from attacks is quite fun, and can be a challenge at times because you can easily lose your character in one hit.
But even then, it can be tedious because you spend most of your time reading and grinding the numbers.
If you enjoy VNs, the reading portions are pretty fun.

is it Akibas Trip or Akiba Strip

Would be less dull if you could use the same save.
The game needs some quality of life choices and I doubt they'll ever be a sequel fixing that. Poor sales and all.

Yes

yes

Yeah, this is the first time I've ever seen anyone talk about it online since I played it last year so I can see there being no further projects.

Battle masters mk 2.
It was fun, reminded me of custom robo.

We'll I got something to look forwards to then. I'll give it a try now.

Spectrobes Origins
Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae
Sonic Chronicles
Sonic Heroes
Sonic and the Black Knight
Fairy Fencer F ADF
Pokemon Sun

>Pokemon Sun
I'm glad we can all come together now and admit that S&M were only ok games.
Also
>Spectrobes Origins
Damn It's been awhile since i heard that name. I honestly feel like if they were allowed a squeal they could've really improved the formula to make a stellar ARPG. Oh well.

Also pic related is my pick.

Pretty much every Senran Kagura is a 7/10 or less and I loved every minute of it. Fight me.

House Flipper
a few Harvest Moon knocks offs
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
No Man's Sky -- from 3 years ago, before HG fixed it.
Spore
Hitman (2016) and Hitman 2 which are bloody fucking awesome - people downvote because of the always-online but they're fucking sweeeeeet.
Azure Lane for like 3 hours a day for the last 6 months.

It was $15 of Fate fanservice and that's fine.

I only played the 3DS ones, first was pretty broken but fun and the second was really good, hard as balls later on and had fantastic graphics for a 3DS game. Never did beat the second one though.

I did try Shinovi Versus but didn't really care to play more than a couple hours, the gameplay kinda sucks. Did Estival Versus or Burst Renewal do it any better?

>Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
I was almost uncomfortable with how I enjoyed this. There was so much retarded shit around it's development and so little remarkable about the game but I still had a good time with it.

Defend it with my life

Dept. Heaven games are all 10/10 and I refuse to accept anyone saying otherwise
>tfw Sting is wasting away on kusoge

this thread is for mediocre games user

Yggdra Union on psp is a solid 9/10

I hated the GBA version, but the PSP version improved a lot of the tedium.
Also gave a QT ara ara character.

This game is the definition of average.

Basically every Suda game

Didn't play renewal. Pre-ordered it December 18th and just never had time to play it. Estival was fine, though. Similar to Shinovi, just ... clunkier. It's hard to explain. But regardless, Estival and Shinovi suffer the same problem - they don't get fun until you unlock abilities. And that requires 2-3 hours on THAT character. You have to level them up. ... basically the build up to the actual fun is too long, but it does eventually pay off.

Metal Gear Survive

Sophie's Atelier was so fun for me.

>Entire game is tedious to play
>Repetitive battles
>Easy as fuck
>Too fucking long
>Stages keep increasing in time to beat, usually ranging from 1-1:30 hours
>Every stage, every single stage, lies about the objective for the first turn, only for it to SPAWN more enemies in and then lie about it's objective AGAIN so it can spawn MORE enemies and THAT'S when the stage starts. Every. Fucking.Time.
>Can't turn off battle animations since the actual damage dealt is based off the inputs you and your companions do and there isn't a set limit

These days I just play it when I take a shit, it gets me through the game bit by bit so it's not that bad these days. Plus, I enjoy it for everything else, music, character and their interactions, games I didn't know about, a somewhat interesting story, animations and a few more. The game itself is tedious to play and I always ask myself why I do it, but I'm only 12 chapters away from finishing, and then I can play the superior sequel.
