Apex legends boosted TF2s average playerbase on pc from 800 to 4000 players. Yeah cod did help kill it but it also had shitty advertising, probably because of EA

Game's thriving. Takes a minute to find a match but it's totally reasonable. Apex really did give it a surge.
it died because ea intentionally sabotaged the promotion of it so respawn would have financial troubles and could be bought.

Its kinda funny once you realize not even Respawn likes EA, one of their devs was trash talking EA In an interview and he got away with it. Respawn seems to know how to stay alive, Apex made them rich and the CEO confirmed on Twitter new Titanfall stuff to be coming soon.
