There's a misconception that humor is some sort of intelligence marker. I don't have a standard for comedy as much as I have shit that amuses me and shit that doesn't. I like stupid humor and slapstick, but I hate gross-out. I like anti-humor, but don't like when it's played as some sort of high-brow intellectual shit. There's things to like about either, but most of the time I like simple, good hearted jokes.
