Except it doesn't LOOK like anything, we have seen literally zero gameplay, it's too early to tell how it will play. Yes the teaser trailer wasn't great but we can't base our opinions of the gameplay off of that yet.

thats the problem right now we only have the teaser and from the teaser it looks like a boring action game. vampires: the masqurade were games about vampire SOCIETY. social interactions, about the different clans interacting with each other, with humans, upholding the masqurade, sabbath, Anarchs and Camerilla interacting with each other vying for control. the teaser gave nothing on that, it only showed action action action in a game where the main focus isn't action.

Did you even watch it? There was time spent looking at some high society rich vampires contrasted with the run-down shithole you are chasing a Nosferatu through. It seems like the first game which did have action and plenty of quests where the end resulted in shooting people.
They've also confirmed plenty of RP through choices. Including being able to choose your background before you were embraced (Choose Cop and other cops will recognize you changing interactions with them)
