Your dream rockstar game

If you could set a rockstar game anywhere at any time where/when would it be?

Remake VC and SA.

Lmao you have the option to make on of their games literally anywhere and you’re just like “fuck it, give me the same game over again”

If GTAV and RDR2 are any indication of the quality of their new content, then remake VC and SA.

GTA set on the north vietnamese/south vietnamese border during the vietnam war.

So do side missions for cianiggers, us army, vietcong, etc.

Basically back to its roots where you're just some footsoldier doing work for powerful men and working your way up.

Closest game like that would prob be Boiling Point: Road To Hell

Manhunt 3. With two people, with their own respective stories.

They meet each other at the last level, AFTER both defeat the "final" boss, but in reality, the final boss is either one of them.

I got nothing else.

GTA in Pablo's Colombia

Red faction guerrilla 2
But to the size and scope of gta5

Grand Theft Auto: Sydney in the current day.

Sydney's streets are too shit.

Vietnam war, main character is a GI

Exactly. It's Australia's very own New York or Chicago.

GTA: Carribean during the Golden Age of Piracy

roman times when Caesar was assassinated.

red dead 3, young dutch and gang fucking shit up in "the great lakes" region. (they mention chicago a lot)
would be fucking bananas

unrelated but holy fuck rdr2 is so boring why did all the "critics" give it 10/10 when its literally the most boring game ive ever played im literally emulating old shit instead of playing that boring ass game right now

a LoveFist rock & roll supergroup simulator taking place during the 1980s when all the sunset strip glam rock bands were kicking ass. Third person, narrative driven, could even use old guitar hero/rock band mechanics. Basically a campaign spanning the groups entire career, from super high success to rock bottom rehab.

An ambitious GTA that takes place over different decades with two main characters. Partially takes place around 1975, player character gets set up and sent to prison. Skip to around 1999, Y2K period, he's out of prison and mentoring the new player character to take over the city and get revenge. Game would have flashbacks and bounce back and forth between the two eras. You'd get to see how much the city changes over time, from fashion to weapons to cars to buildings and roads.

probably should have played red dead 1 or had some kind of tangential interest in the old west before playing it

Would preorder

This. But with comedic shit toned way down

So Mafia 2 essentially?

I hate these types of games with flashbacks etc

Or Red Dead 3 starting young Landon Ricketts, follows his career as a gunslinger and your get to see what was true and what was myth. Ends at the Blackwater massacre where he sees all his friends die and retires to Mexico.

Manhunt 3 in mother russia and some really fucked up human experiments which cause hallucinations so rockstar has an excuse to intergrate some body horror monsters and sheeeet

Sort of, I was more thinking of Carlito's Way.

Medieval fantasy game. LOTR or ASOIAF

GTA set in 2040. This time with character creation and better utilization of the open world in missions.

GTA Borg Cube

MIDNIGHT CLUB IV

Another GTA set in 80s Miami. This time a Miami to scale the same way they did Los Santos compared to the old San Andreas map.

I just want a RDR2 SP expansion and for them to add fucking Poker and Liar's Dice to MP

A FUCKING SEQUEL TO CHINATOWN WARS BECAUSE THAT DRUG DEALING MINIGAME IS THE SHIT.

that movie is faggier than your dad's gay porn career

Red Dead Redemption in modern times

probably shouldn't have been an overrated shit game. Yea Forums is bullshit no one warned me how shit ad boring it is

Set it in Chicago in the 1920s.

Late 80s/Early 90s small-town GTA with densely packed towns, rife with interiors and immersive gameplay. You choose between two similar main questlines: topple a county police department that is heavily corrupt... or take it over while ducking and weaving around the government.

Think Fargo + North Yankton in GTA V + La Noire

GTA: Hyrule Kingdom using the Breath of the Wild Engine, only on Xbox

Cyberpunk GTA.

which of my dad's films did you bust the biggest nut to

The one where he fucks his son in the ass

That's a good one, I believe the name of the actor portraying the son was (You)

Red Dead Redemption 3 in mid 1890s.
More missions that take advantage of the game world. Camp management that matters. Can take gang members with you to freeroam. More actually dynamic events. More random genned bounties and hangings in towns with more hanged girls

Why are you watching your dad fuck his son in the ass

GTA game
Home base at a wrecking yard.
Can park as many vehicles in the yard as you care to, and they are saved.
The world has a number of unique and interesting vehicles that might be found.
Can mix and combine parts from the vehicles in the yard to create dream rides or monstrosities.

Red Dead Redemption 2 was perfectly fine in my opinion.

everyone has to have a hobby

GTA prohibition era

I don't know, I think RDR is kind of played out at this point. All the plot threads arcs ended, both games tied into each other perfectly. Before RDR2 is mapped out and after RDR1 is no longer the west.

What you're describing is just additional content rather than any new additions or innovations. How many times do you want a higher definition horse or more random events that'll be novel once? There's no point in making a new game just because you can-- that's how you get stale series like CoD that rely on past goodwill and popular trends to sell anything. I expect Rockstar will just retire the current set of characters (and perhaps even the series) short of any DLC.

Brazil, and you play as a regular brazilian politician.

GTA - The Rise of President Candice Shand

I don't really care, I want more wild west settings. Six shooters, bank robberies, sexy girls dancing the hangman's jig ain the gallows pit, poker at the saloon all the good wild west stuff. However, I don't want that right now because they just made a wild west game. Maybe SP DLC for 2 and then RDR3 after their next 'other' game.

I just want a GTA game with fully destructible environments.

>expecting rockstar to be able to pull destructable environments out of their ass when after 20 years they STILL can't fix car spawning copying your car

GTA Istanbul

Midnight Club set in late 90s Tokyo, but with a batshit, Ichi the Killer type story.

Based

My dream is that Rockstar would stop making games.

Mob game set in 1920s

Good boah.

A WWII third person shooter with a strong narrative

Imagine dropping some nazi's with an M1 Garand with glorious euphoria physics

>cause
Das Vidanya

you are what's wrong with the gaming industry today

>Zoomer false flags as Boomer

Bully 2 where you play as a brother&sister pair and swap out for different missions.

Pirates

You know how Psychonauts has levels set inside people's brains?
That.

revive skate and destroy

GTA game but open world rpg where eveyone can have different experience throughout walkthrough. Like Kenshi or something.

Grand Theft Dinosaur

>Cold war espionage thriller
>After YEARS in development hell, it gets canned
>No spy kino from Rockstar

What's wrong with it? There are plenty of good new IPs and remakes around.
