I think the game is cool and we need more Wave Race/THPS kinda games but I feel like this game in particular is shilled way too much on Yea Forums, especially in amateur game dev threads.

it plays very similarly to tony hawk. there's a classic style campaign where you do trick attack and have objectives.the guns come into play with the campaign a bit but its mostly focused on the tricks

there's also online and local multiplayer with various game modes. there's classic trick attack, combo attack, that kind of stuff. there's also gun battle focused modes like koth and deathmatches.

I've always wondered what being a publisher entailed. I know they do the marketing and probably have a team of veteran coders who bugtest your game. Also, money.

Nice use of colors that separates stage elements (e.g. water, land, buildings) from action elements (e.g. shot trails, water trails).
Movement is fun to watch. Coolest moment I saw was the wheelie move upon landing that acted as a boost.
Slowmo shooting is cool. Certainly makes aiming much more manageable in a fast-paced game.

Stuff I am interested in or would tinker around with:
Score multiplier increases in size when slowmo shooting is cool; however, I think the number font size or color should also increase based off how high your points / combo is otherwise it looks underwhelming.
Whether you're invincible when grinding ala Jet Set Radio?
Does your score impacts the mechanics of shooting or movement, if entering a combo state makes your character more powerful ala Gunvalkyrie?
Being able to move your midair direction with backflip might make the aerial momentum feel too loose.
What mission types are there?

Yeah but does this game have a killer soundtrack? If not you can fuck off.

you are in the clips posted, but its actually not really intentional. in the future the one going faster will make the other player bail if they collide while grinding

its the other way around actually. shooting affects your movement and score, and movement affects your score.

any trick has rotation variants (spinning while grabbing will convert the trick to a 180, 360, etc). all grinds and some other tricks have "reverse" variants, so if you jump, spin backwards and start grinding, you'll get extra multiplier for your final score. wall slaps can also be performed in reverse.
when grinding, if your balance is in the red you'll get extra points per second
lots of stuff like this in the game

its a rocket league style jump, not a total redirect but an added force. it can only be done once until you touch the ground again
